another question.

It says that the only originals you send are forms i-130 and the g25's .

But Do i send Pictures of us together or photocopy those pictures? for evidence that is

If you do, don't do a photo book at a camera store! They sent mine back the day they opened my package a week ago.

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

awe, Thats not very nice of them, you went through the trouble of making an album and they didnt even bother to keep it/

well keep that for the interview part :)

Im not sure whether i should just send photocopies of pictures they obviously dont really care that much about pictures.

I spent hours at a camera store doing it, and even bought a 2nd one! Now I'm stuck with two, and USCIS has zero pics of my hubby and me!

Our timeline:

Did they ask you to send pictures of you together??? I send in my and my husband passport pictures I think that those are the only pictures you need to send for the I-130.

We did sent about 20 pages with 4 pics on each A4 sheet and they still asked me today to see more pics at my interview... :blink:

They do care about pics b/c they ask about them. I sent all my pics :( I hope I get them back 1 day lol

12/28/2007-- Married in mexico

07/20/2009- sent out Aos ( yea I paid everything now im sending it. I was out of town with my hubby for 2months Thank God they let us pay online now only if we could send everything else online lol )

09/01/2009- Visa interview has been scheduled for 10/05/2009. Letter by email.

I don't think its a big deal if you sent pictures or not. However, when I applied I sent alot of pictures. When you go to your interview at the embassy they will have the pictures you sent with your I-130. Those pictures will be returned to you when you finish the interview. So you can send originals and get them back at the end of the process. Hope this info helps! Good luck to all! :thumbs:
