Geez kath, how much did you win?

1) Buy a huge piece of land and build a cat shelter/sanctuary. Any cat surrendered would have a home until it's dying day without euthanasia being threatened. It would be free roaming with huge enclosures.

2) Buy a home in the UK, so I could split my time between the USA and UK.

There's nothing else that comes to mind.

Hehehe, I don't know - I'm still waiting to find out. Guess I should check my ticket, eh? I like to dream big, though :)

OOO - add - make a donation to Persephone's cat shelter - in both cash and cats :D . I already have a cat for her waiting!

This is my favorite fantasy to think about, even better than the one with Matthew McConaughey

I would still work, because I truly love what I do, but I wouldn't do it quite as much! 2 or 3 day workweek, hell yeah!

I would pay off all the outstanding debt from son's surgeries, give money to my family and hubby's family, put money away for my son's education.

Finish restoring my 72 Bronco.

Buy a house with mountain views, nice but not a million dollar home or anything.

Donate to charity, especially mental health charities.

Give all the therapists at my office a raise :) And Brother Dean too ;)

And TRAVEL!!!!

I'd continue working to finish the project I'm on but after that, I'd ask to take a long leave of absence.

I'd buy a big house or building that would be large enough to accommodate relatives and friends should they ever need a place to live for awhile, but I'd have it designed into separate areas, with large common areas so everyone can gather when needed.

After taking a leave of absence, I'd buy a small camper van and drive all over this great country, meet different people.

I'd set up a grant program for relatives and friends, where they could request money. I'd have a trust fund that would be managed so that it would never run dry. Relatives and friends would have to understand that there's simply not enough to give everyone a lot of money, so the grants would be distributed based on their circumstances and needs.

If there was any money left, I'd like to buy some farm land and find some families that would like to live and work on the farm.

Would I be eligible to tap that grant program too?

You sure could, Spooks! Being that you are one of my homies here on VJ.

Thanks, much appreciated. Please PM me when you win.

Not sure why so many people say they will continue to work. My boss knows that if he gets a call from my area code with nothing but hysterical laughter on the other end - he should just start looking for my replacement, as I won't be back.

I would still work because I love teaching. :)

I'd stop working right away!

I would donate to charities, specially UNICEF and children related. I would make a big donation to the children's public hospital in Buenos Aires.

Then, I would spend the rest of my life traveling with the Justin. I wouldn't buy houses - just stay at high end hotels.

Our permanent residence would be a big house in Carilo (Buenos Aires Coast), and would include a bunch of horses :star:

I know Justin would want some cool cars and guitars :)

Saludos,

Caro

If I ever win the lottery, I am going to get in contact with you...to help me build a cat shelter/sanctuary...and in return, I will buy you a home in the UK :) I go around my neighborhood every day and make rounds feeding alot of feral/homeless cats...it breaks my heart seeing a animal living on the street or in a shelter :(

I would invest and travel around the world with my children, trying to help those in need....and live a simple life. Maybe once every six months we would take a good vacation.
