If I'm correct I think it's 3 for both G-325A and then another 2 for the I-765 and 2 for I-131 depending if your filing for those? That's what I did and I filed for them all!

You should try like costco, walgreens, cvs or rite aid they usually have a good deal on passport photos, less than $10 for four!

I got my 6 passport photos less than $1.

My husband took my picture in front of white wall at home with digital camera

and brought SD card to

Walmart photo center... You know the kiosk at photo center..

You just selected "passport photo" and you can make adjustment to meet the

spec required by USCIS prior to printing... A few seconds later, your pictures are ready!

Good luck :star:

Good luck, bellybutton! I did that, early walk in but I guess it depends on the place that you are scheduled for, if they accept it! You can prob ask around for other VJer's that went to the same office as your appointment and see whether you can! Def. Makes life easier getting it done earlier!

Hi all. Hope you are doing well and moving fast with your application processings. I've been waiting for biometrics appointment letter so impatiently, but haven't recieved anything yet. and today I get an e-mail from CRIS stating that a RFE letter for I-485 was sent to me yesterday :( I'm very upset, for we spent so much time preparing the petiotion, and I really did not want to be slowed down by RFE's. The letter should be here, hopefully, by Saturday,so I will have some time to look at it over the weekend. It sucks that my school starts on Monday and it will slow me down in figuring out the RFE.

I have a question: other then documents requested in a RFE, does that mean everything else in my petition is in order and I won't recieve more RFE's after submitting the evidence they are asking for? I mean, do you think everything else is fine with my I-485, I-130 and I-765? USCIS sent NOA's on August 6th, and since then I had 3 touches on all forms: on 7th,11th and today,18th. Do you guys think there was enough time for them to find all missing documents?

Hi, this is going to be a good thread for all of us AOS filers

I'm a F1 student too, married my husband when he was still a LPR in 2007.

He filed I-130 March 2008 and got Receipt Notice, haven't heard from USCIS since then..

My husband became a naturalized USC last June this year and upgraded the I-130, only got an upgrade letter but the petition isn't approved yet.

Our attorney filed my I-485 and I-765 just yesterday..

Hope I will receive the Receipt Notice as soon as possible because I'm not sure that I could enroll this fall semester

Is it true that if I had the Receipt Notice of my Adjustment of Status, I could show it to my school advisor so I won't be able to fall out of status?

I'm really worried because the school is going to start on Monday already

Hey cHiQy!

Well I heard that most schools require to see that receipt of notice and that is fine, as long as you show your international advisor, but then it depends on the school. Some schools want to see that you have your EAD in hand, so my best bet is to tell your advisor that you got married and your adjusting, and ask them what evidence they want to see for you to allow you to drop that f-1 visa status so you don't have to go to school this semester!

Good luck! :star:

Hey August Filers!

I am a little bit confused between the "none" and "n/a" terms

Correct me if I am wrong:

Where it says middle name if I dont have one, should I write "none" or "n/a"?

When should I use n/a?

Thanks

Marta

Hey August Filers!

I am a little bit confused between the "none" and "n/a" terms

Correct me if I am wrong:

Where it says middle name if I dont have one, should I write "none" or "n/a"?

When should I use n/a?

Thanks

Marta

I'm a July filer but hey... ;) I would put N/A for your middle name just on the off chance you don't want them to think your middle name is None. I know it seems pretty stupid but you never know with these people! Using N/A is a clear indication that it is not applicable and nobody would have a slash through their middle name. :)

On an unrelated note, my NOA1's arrived today and what's more is that none of the Receipt numbers match that which is stamped on the back of the checks that were cashed.

It took 4 days from the checks being cashed to receive the NOA's and multiple sources say that the receipt numbers are donned on the check endorsement, and I tried to use it to track my applications, but they were erroneous. Now I know that all the receipt numbers are sequential with the check having its own unique MSC identifier.

*wipes brow*

Good feeling to know I'm in the mix.
