Hello everyone,

We didn't get a November interview, so I have to wait to see if we could get a December one. My question is, is there a time limit for my wife to come to states when gets her visa? Or does she have to come immediately? Can she wait like a couple of months?

I'm sure you've had it worse than I did. Do you know when they start scheduling for the next period? I called in yesterday and they said that they are done scheduling for November and that I didn't get a slot. When do they usually start scheduling?

NVC says always the 2nd week of each month, but many such as myself got assigned interview dates before that week. I got my date 2 weeks before their scheduling week. So dont lose hope, you never know, you may get a email before the 2nd week of November for a December interview date or earlier.

Truly happy!!!

Does anyone know how long it takes to get an interview for the IR1 once the nvc is done with the case?? Our case is almost complete as of yesterday and I was told they will be putting the case in the "QUE" for an interview, but I'm not sure how long that takes. I tried to get some information from the NVC, but it was quite general and am hoping someone might know better on here. Please let me know. Thanks
