Has anyone seen Pattu Rani (Dolma) ??

I am a little concerned...

We were going to meet up with her in Kathmandu in late June, which didn't happen (I emailed her to suggest a date/time, but we had a very small window in Ktm... a couple of days... and I never heard back from her). I've tried leaving a message on her FB page, too. No response. She was due back from Nepal mid-July i believe, with her husband who was coming for the first time.

She is a regular on VJ, but hasn't checked in here since late June.

I think it is unlikely that she would be in such a remote area of Nepal that she couldn't get to an internet cafe to keep in touch. There is internet access all over Kathmandu and in most larger towns in Nepal.

It is possible she just doesn't want to "talk", or she and her hubby are so busy settling in to their life together here that she hasn't had time to get online, but I think that is unlikely, too.

I'm worried. I'm not asking for any info that isn't any of my business, but if anyone on here has heard from her, if they could just PM me and let me know they've heard from her and she's OK, I would really appreciate it.

Maya thanks for starting this post , I just searched for your posts to send you a PM to ask if she was in contact with you. She was due back with hubby to USA on July 11. I sent a Welcome Back PM on July 12 but no answer. She was signing in and out of Yahoo Messenger both before July 11th and up till last week of July. I tried writing to her on Messenger on July 26 but she didn't answer so I kept quite since then.

I have been concerned too. I can't imagine her being too busy to sign in here... but hoping that is just the case. I even looked on the "Effects" forum but no posts sound like her. Hope all is going on OK with them. Wish I had her roommate Pema's info, I would be contacting him by now if I knew it!

When she visited her mom here in Fresno (we spent some hours together while she was here) she had given me contact phone numbers, I will see if I can dig them up. We just want to know that she is OK!
