Hello Everyone,

I have a couple of questions and was wondering if you guys could help me. The first is I call my wife several times during the week, but I noticed that the bills does not show her number it shows the number of the calling card I called in order to call to her. Is this still usable for the interview or will it not work at all? The second is do I need to show proof that I'm employed with a company during her interview process? Can you please help me out with these questions. Thanks.

Wish everyone the best of luck with their journey to be reunited with their love ones. av-61161.gif

Yes, you do need to show proof for your employed. Your company needs to write your a letter let them know when did you work, your title, and how much is your salary.

Did you check with the service about why her number didn't show on your calling card?

Thank you for the reply. I checked with phone company and the phone card service and they said they didn't know. Will this affect anything if her number does not show up on the bills?

Wish everyone the best of luck with their journey to be reunited with their love ones. av-61161.gif

There is NO WAY to prove that it was her that you called so those bills are useless. Sorry. As far as employment you just have to prove it for the I-864 stage.

If you're using a phone card then there is no way to keep records of the calls. You should consider looking into traceable methods, such as international service through your phone company. If that's not possible then you should work on collecting other types of proof such as e-mails, chat logs, etc.

I have the same thing. I am submitting my records. I also have made copies of my calling card recharges and the page showing the local access number which matches what is shown on the phone log. Now this is not the only documentation I have. Also interspersed with those calling card logs are my SMS text messages back and forth which do show her number on the phone log.

I addition I have Skype logs and also a page of video snapshots that I took while we were on Skype. They show both her and her and the little one and just the little one. He will be at the interview so the CO can put two and two together.

I have FedEx receipts of the Womens' Day gift I sent plus a picture of her with her gift. She will bring her copy of the FedEx receipt which also shows from me. I am sending the same for the book I sent her.

I have pages and pages of email logs, to and from plus will print out a few choice emails for reading pleasure.

Finally I will send a copy of the receipt for the pre-registration for preschool for the little one.

If this ain't proof enough!

You should get a letter from your company, usually HR department will do this, that states, on company letterhead, YOURNAME has been employed her for so many years in this position and makes an annual salary of and is an employee in good standing.

I will send one also.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

for vietnam calls- look into Vinatouch. 3.9cent/minute to landline. Service is great. There are no hidden fees or charges for dropped calls. I just program the local number from my phone and dial the reciever number- no pin needed. and they have logs online and will also print and send to you at home. It tracks number and time of call.

If you live near some VNese stores. They offer prepaid calling account that you can prepay and make calls to VN on your home phone, work phone, cell phone..up to 3-4 phones to call from as you choose. You can even set up to have your SO call you from VN too.

Ask for either Lunex Telecom or V24/7 service. Both of these will give you monthly statements with detail of all your calls to and from with date/time and call duration. It will cost approximately 4.7 cent a minute. I don't have V24/7 phone number but here is the contact for Lunex Telecom, you can contact them for further info.

1)keep the calling cards with you,and your partner can show it with the calling reports at interview stage

2) if you are sponsoring your wife so consider a letter from your employer with your job description and salary plus last few month's pay stubs that will be perfect

good luck

hence there are so many other things to show an ongoing relationship.
