Hi,

I'm here 2. Approval July 17. I'm out of town for the rest of the month and I don't think according to timeline there is going to be huge change till end of the month.

My wife is going to send 230 and 3032 plus all other documents with DHL tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. So I think I will start the process by the end of this month. I read through guidelines tons and tons of times. Doesn't seem to be very complicated. It's just time consuming and multiple visit to post office.

Let's be in touch for remaining of process with the wish of reunion ASAP.

Hey all... July approval here.

Have paid/sent in all A.O.S. stuff and am still waiting for them to accept our Choice of Agent form so, thus waiting for them to generate IV bill. I called today and spoke to a nice lady who said that they process that in about 10-14 days so... I'll just hold on.

Have all my stuff, my POlice certification is going to be here sometime this week and after that, ready to mail in. Got some 'excellent' passport pictures done yesterday and had all my immunizations boostered.

How's everyone faring with the NVC?

Keep this thread alive, we'll need each other's help.

Update,

Just called NVC. spoke to a nice lady. gave her the NVC assigned numbers. She asked if i wanted to recieve forms in my email and i said yes. So she said,'we will send out forms and stuff today to your email" . What??

what that tells you, Once you have NVC case number, Dont wait around. Call and speak to someone and give them your email address. And they will email the forms to you.

Also spoke regarding my child's case and she said i could sign for him since he is underage. And she said, DS-3032 is the only form that can be returend via EMAIL.

looking forward to getting those emails :)

True. If you want to have it done quickly you should be on their back.

Also according to Ling Che guideline you don't need to wait for them to send you the form. you can download the form, fill it, generate barcode, place it and send it. If you wait for them to send forms to you, that will take forever.

Hi Paris...

Yes, NVC is nicer and they actually invite you to call and speak to them and such. So far, no hassles really. But, we'll wait and see. Just found out that I got my passport pics done to Canadian specs and they'll want the USA specs. It's only a matter of like a quarter of an inch... geez! Just an FYI for everyone out there, get your pics done to US standards if you can. I don't see why as they don't use them for a passport or anything, do they? And the visa goes right into your passport, right? No pic necessary? I'd thought that the pics were only so they could see who they were dealing with and match you up at the interview?

Good luck Paris, they have all your stuff, you're basically just waiting for an approval notice now.

:)

LGG

PS... and a good luck to all my fellow March filers too, my fingers and toes are crossed for you all.

That's right too, do NOT wait for them to send you the forms and such, call them and give them yours and your spouse's email addresses -- otherwise you'll wait extra weeks for them to send you stuff.

Best of luck...

LGG
