Long Distance Love art series

While waiting for my K1, I've been mucking about in Photoshop making stuff. It keeps me sane I would think. Anyhow, came up with a bunch of art (if you would call it that) with a long distance relationship theme, something I can relate to. Call it self expression but I believe a lot of people here can identify with it.

Anyhow, had this idea about 5 minutes ago that maybe some of you might be interested since we're all in the same boat. I'm a bit hesitant to put myself out there but the need to share something with people who understand the situation I'm in seems to be stronger at the moment.

Long Distance Love

They are all simple stickman in love but separated by something or the other. There's quite a bit of symbolism involved or so I'd like to think. The objects separating them are symbolic of the long distance. How closely they are positioned despite the objects illustrates the saying 'so close yet so far'.

Alright, gonna go before I lose my nerve.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing!! My favorite one is "Love Distance Love", but "biding time" comes in a close second! But they are all good, seriously!

Thank you for the positive comments. I can't tell you how happy making these made me. It's a big relief from just waiting and not being able to do anything and feeling so helpless not knowing or hearing anything. This was something I could do.

I like Biding Time a lot, but maybe it's just because of the darker sepia tones. These are not for sale or anything and I don't make any profit out of it. Just sharing for the sake of sharing =)

My favorite is 'Flying High.'

Those would make lovely prints and/or cards.
