Oh here we go again. "American women are all teh suck."

Good grief, man. Who stole your balls and fed them to you so that you have to generalize like this? Note that the USC women married to foreign men don't say "omgwtfbbq All American men suck."

If you want submissive, rather than 'life partner', get a freaking dog.

Sorry, but a sweet, gentle submissive attitude goes a loooong way to create order and harmony in the home. Some people here actually can find in "the good book" where it hints it a good thing.

The sweet gentle attitude of the woman makes the man love and care for her even more and offer her a spirit of servitude and not domination.

So you would prefer the attitude of a "Bridezilla"? I can hardly believe that. Lovingness and kindness is what most here seek in a marriage partner. '

The best of luck to you.

Bullsh1t. You are way off base. Harmony in the home is created by founding a relationship amongst equals. Submissiveness reminds me of how my pets should act. #######.

My favorite part is that the 'sweet, gentle attitude of the woman makes the man love and care for her even more and offer her a spirit of servitude and not domination.'

I think equal respect, admiration, love, and partnership is far more rewarding.

Handcuffs are always optional, Len.

It has been a while since we've had one of these threads.

Oh, and as to the OP: I find Bridezillas amusing. Considering our wedding was arranged together and was fabulous on less money than it's cost us for immigration, we def didn't fit into that category. But it's fun to watch...

My best friend was a bridezilla - I still love her and forgive her, although it took my hubby 4 years to do so. She's also Mexican, thus diminishing your ideal of a submissive foreign wife. Furthermore, I have a helluva lot of Filipina friends from growing up in LA - they would tell you to stick that submissive bs where the moon doesn't shine.
