Hyphotetical situation -

Monday: your SO comes to you and says ''next time you go to walmart please buy me a screwdriver''.

Friday: You and your SO make plans to go to this place on Sunday. The place is at least 30 minutes drive, like home depot, for example. You both have absoteluty nothing to do after that.

Sunday: When driving to that place, you drive by walmart and you say "since we're here and you wanted a screwdriver, let's take 5 min and go get it''. Your SO says no, because it wasn't on the original plan. If you convince your SO to do that, she/he'll b!tch about it and get cranky for the rest of the day. If you don't convince you'll have to go to Walmart another day, spend more gasoline and another hour to do your SO a favor, just because you didn't think of saying ''if we drive by walmart, how about we stop to buy your screwdrivwer'' Friday when you made plans for Sunday.

Question #1: Are you the kind of person that when going to a certain place to do something, drive by another place that you need something and decide to stop by, save gasoline and time and get that done or you only go to the place you had decided to go previously, because stopping by that other place wasn't on your plans for that day.

Charles.... :bonk:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Well, not to throw stones...lol....because I'm not married yet..and really don't know how to answer, except to say, I usually like to go to which ever is easiest! If I make plans to go to store "a", but I decided to search store "b" because it's closer and saves time, I'll do that, and if I can't find what I'm looking for, then I'll just toddle off to my original plan, because at least I know what I'm looking for is there.

As far as have my SO pick something up for me? Yes, I think he would do it.

Could you and Charles just start your own thread: "What Charles did to PO me today!"

I run all the errands. Mostly, since I drive all day anyways, I just stop and get what we need. Plus the wife works for a major retailer, and we just use her 10% employee discount there.

If she asks me to pick something up on the way, if it is truly on the way, I do it. There is no big heartache either way.

he didn't PO me, seriously. I don't start these polls because I'm POed, I start because I want to prove a point. It's my thing, plus VJers can help crazy wifey to keep her husband on a leash.
