7/16/07 - Visa denied because of a previous overstay in US, must file I-601 waiver

8/16/07 - Delivered I-601 papers to US Embassy in Ankara

12/28/07 - Fourth visit to Turkey

11/22/08 - Still waiting on I-601 Waiver (16 months)

12/23/08 - Yilmaz received approval letter for his waiver in mail!!!

03/18/09 - 2nd IV interview in Ankara

03/18/09 - Visa approved. Will be sent via UPS to his home address

03/25/09 - Received visa at home address

04/18/09 - Arrival in U.S.!!!!!!

05/21/09 - Married on the beach in Hawaii

07/12/09 - Mailed AOS papers via FedEX

7/18/09 - NOA for AOS/EAD/AP

7/30/09 - I-485 transferred to CSC

8/19/09 - Biometrics appointment @ 11 AM---COMPLETED

8/30/09 - AP approved (recieved 2 hard copies in mail on 9/5/09)

9/08/09 - EAD card received in the mail

10/16/09 - Touch from CSC

11/09/09 - Card production ordered

10/05/11 - Filed Removal of Conditions

07/31/12 - Removal of conditions APPROVED, card issued

Got my interview letter (sep 17th)!

Have not received my EADS Card yet though (didnt apply for AP).

Mailed off my application on July 3rd.

07/02 checks cashed

NOAs 07/01- received 07/06

Biometrics letter-dated 07/07, received 07/10

07/14 Touch on I130, I131, I765

Biometrics appointment 08/01

08/03 Touch on I765 & I485

08/13 EAD & AP approved

8/14 AP touched

I got my interview letter for September 22 :dance:

CONGRATS to you & fordman!!!

(If we end up with the same interview date, I will die laughing!)

I hope mine comes today!(I'll be happy with this week!) ^_^

And I really hope we hear about the last of the bios, & some more EAD's!

WOW!! i havent been here for a while and I was surprised that a lot got their AP and EAD. Congrats! i am just wondering you were saying that u can get a touch after the bio? I didnt got any of it, though I got a repeat email of the transferring of the case at CSC the following day after my bio. So does that mean that it's basically a touch too?

That's what I think. We all got repeat emails after bio, so that's my guess. They don't send out emails saying, "hey, your bio is now attached" so the system automagically resends the most recent status.

Just my guess tho.

Yea, at least I had the repeat email too. Makes me feel at ease while waiting for my ead, i need to start working soon!:P

I have my biometrics this Friday coming. It's an hour away, and our apppmnts are for 8am and 9am...I'm thinking i'll have to leave at around 6:15am to be safe...traffic etc.... my only saving grace is that if we are a tad late...I have both spots reserved for me and my son..so I hope we don't get yelled at too bad lol...not that we plan on being late lol...

How do I get an hour away in the smallest State in the US?! HAHA! Isn't that like the whole distance of the entire State? lol...

I'm hoping based on timelines that my AP and EAD will come in about 2 weeks. I actually got offered work a couple of days ago...I told them it'll be a few weeks before I get my papers :) Not sure if i'll take it...in my industry...work is not consistent...I really don't have to work, but it would be nice to pick things up here and there...funny thing is that I have been offered many great opportunities in the past several months, and I could never take them...watch now that I will be able to work...nothing good will come through...lol...I guess it just gives me more time to keep writing...

I have my biometrics this Friday coming. I just got a second "Card production ordered" email. It actually scared the hell out of me. I thought maybe it was a notice that an RFE was on it's way!

Haha, I was scared too, because my birthday is on Sep-2 and my husband's is on Sep-19, and my parents are visiting form Sep 3rd to 13th :wacko: ...so it will be a very busy month for us, but thank God the interview is after all of it on Sep-22 :thumbs: . I am pretty sure that yours will be way before your B-day :thumbs: !

Still no biometrics appointment. I will be anxiously checking the mailbox today. Hubby is gone fishing this week anyway! :P

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

oh that does sound busy!!

It drives me insane because our mail use to come at around 3:00pm (central) but for the last month it's started to come at 5-5:30!! so I'm always sitting here waiting and waiting for it to come!!

On a good note I just applied to about 30 jobs today! Hopefully I start hearing back from them soon! :thumbs:

Yesterday I received my EAD !! Gosh, they move so fast, considering that I was waiting for my NOA2 for the I-129F for 10 months. It's like they try to make it up to me !! :dance:

Question: for the following GC interview, am I supposed to bring my husband? Or is it just for me ? Dumb question, but I have to know. :blush:
