DS-156k Question 4.

Searched all over the forums and had no luck.

This is a confusing question.

My fiancee is divorced, I have all the documents that prove so.

How do I answer the question, "How and when was marriage terminated"?

Obviously, I know the "when", but don't know how to answer the "how" part.

Any experience with this one?

Thanks!

It was ended by "divorce"

How? = divorce When? = date of divorce. This is a joke, right?

Yeah, we put: When -date. How- divorce, Atlanta, Georgia (or whatever city is on the divorce certificate). I doubt you actually need the city, but we added that in just because.

And yeah. how did it terminate doesn't mean why did it terminate. Words and their meanings are our friends.

Yes, but ds156K is specifically for a K-1 visa. It should not have been moved. When it fits well in 2 different forums why don't you let your trigger-happy finger rest and just leave it where the poster wanted it. The movement of topics is being overdone.

I agree, every post there is someone is moving it for some lame reason. It is not the end of the world. Maybe some people like seeing their VJ member status go up a level or 2.
