On second thought, and given Confucian's, confusion (spoiler) thread.....I need to bail out and sleep for work tomorrow....If time permits in the am, I will merge the threads......

If not, these threads will get buried soon enough.....

Still alive and well, but lazy to merge....Does not seem important now, as "big" news is overwhelming. In my opinion, this is not a big deal, given the issues documented on this individual.

Ah, once more today we see the mod-police jackbooting their way across the free-expression of VJ members.

<sigh>

Do extra threads cost money? server space? CPU cycles? What are we conserving here exactly?

it does clutter the front page of the forum. some merging might be in order.

I get that, but if someone wants to post a thread about it...so what? If no one responds to it, it will sink into oblivion anyway.

It did seem alittle snarky jackbooty 'I'll tell you what/where to post' from William. I mean it's OT-since when are we worried about how this part of VJ looks? If we were ...why is so much ####### allowed to remain? I'll tell you why--'cos it's OT! People say what they think....and if they want to start a thread about whatever in OT-they should be allowed to w/o mods starting threads about them starting threads.... .....jmo. :)

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

i'm just going with the concept of it's nice to see if the subject already exists prior to posting thought.........
