If you only got one sheet of paper then you should call or schedule an info pass.....I would schedule an info pass because they have more access to info regarding your case or at least they can call or something like that. When you do go, it would be a bonus if you carry all possible evidence and more, they may fax it over to the IO while you are there......ONLY IF THEY ARE EXTRA NICE........

RFE pretty much means the IO was not able to come to a informed decision on you case with the current evidence he/she has. If he/she is still not able to make a judgememt call after your response it will be transfered to local office....LO may make the judgement call or call you for an interview.

Hope this helps!

Ok guy's sorry for sounding so dumb! this is a list of what i sent:

- Joint car purchase contract

- Joint health insurance cards

- Joint utlity bill

- Joint life insurance

- 3 years of joint tax returns

- Joint checking/savings account statement

And your evidence look good to me. Maybe I would send everything again plus new bills and some photos. You sould be fine!

I had an RFE when I was adjusting status requesting for tax returns and all the taxes was included in my original package so I just sent the same copies again and I was approved.

Good luck.

I want to add that if you don't call them and find out what they want, and just send other stuff hoping that covers it, you may end up being denied because you've not done what they asked (even though you didn't get the correct info from them).

So CALL THEM. For the price of a phone call it's worth it. ;)

When I got a RFE - It had two pages and the second page told me what was needed - they needed the original signed G325 from my fiance. The first page said somewhat what you are describing; mine said, "The documentation submitted is not sufficient to warrant favorable consideration of your petition/application".

They may have left out the second page - check the envelope again. Failing that call/Infopass. Good Luck

Not sure how to copy and post it! But seriously it's a blue sheet with my information at the top and a box that states Request for evidence and below that a return date!

Infopass. :)

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

.png

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

If they don't or can't give you more information, then I'd start to look at other things you can send. Look up other people's evidence list for ideas.

One poster has already suggested not just one utility bill, but bills (and bank statements) that span the term of your marriage. I sent in one every 4-6 month period. Also, affidavits could be sent now too.

How about a copy of your lease/house deed (if it is rented/owned jointly) or if you rent and you are not both on the lease, then a letter from your property manager saying that you both reside together?

Trip itineraries from places you have been together? Anything showing either of you as beneficiary to the other? Joint credit card statements?
