Rami-Becky - that was a troll looking to stir up trouble via stalking.

I hope my English is good to understand this. You meant that it was just somebody post something or unreal story to make a trouble, and deceive the people here. Right? new expression.

Welll... my name is Missy, and I am engaged to Mouad from Morocco. We first met online February 2008 and a while later became engaged. I went to visit him earlier this year to see him for the first time and stayed 3 amazing and exciting weeks, and shortly after my return in May 2009 we filed our k1 visa and received our NOA1 at the end of May. Im praying to receive a approval letter by the end of September so we can proceed to the interview process. Not sure how long those things take, but was told by vj that my estimated time to receive word of an approval was September 24th. So... axiously waiting, and waiting, and waiting.....

*sticks foot in door* Before another troll turns this into a train wreck, lemme get my tuchis in here.

Im an old crusty VJ'er and I dont hit the boards as often as I used to. But if someone needs me, go look for me on FB. Im all too addicted to that place.

My name is Gabrielle, my husband's name is Ahmed, and we have an 18 month old son named Mehdi. Hubster is from Rabat, Maroc and arrived here on a K-1 in February 2007. We met online through chat in February 2005 and filed for K-1 in February 2006 (yeah, we like that month. Baby was born in February too). We're filed for AOS through the DORA program (before it was optional) in Dallas. I advise everyone to avoid that place (or at least that program) like the plague. We're up for ROC in August of 2010 or citizenship in March 2010. In the meantime we're enjoying not having to deal with USCIS for awhile. We're also preparing to move to Seattle next month. If you're a newbie and in the Seattle area, give a holler. Ive been up there twice now for VJ shindigs and we do it up right.

For the newbies, good to see you, welcome to VJ, and ignore the trolls. Trolls are not worth your time or trouble.

Oh and bring on the baby pix. MENA babies rock!

Ok here's my intro...I'm Kara from the Detroit area. I've been a member since 2006 but I come and go, lol. The mister is Egyptian from Kafr el Dawar. We've been married 3.5 yrs, he's been here for nearly 2.5. He's currently in NY for work since the economy in MI is in the crapper. Our visa journey was long(ish), our permanent resident journey was short. He got his 10 year about a year ago. That's about it.

ETA: About me, I am a mother of two sons (11.5 and 13) from a previous marriage. No kidlets from my current union.
