wrong again, liberal. there was a movie made about an assisination of GWB in 2006. i got a bootleg copy of it in china. it was made in a very realistic manner, using lots of footage of GWB from various public appearances. i am not sure that it was released in USA. but it was definitely made and released on the international market. i lent it to a friend last year, so don't have it handy to inform you of the title. i am sure you could find reference to it on google.

Cindy Sheehan has called him a ``lying #######," a ``filth spewer," an ``evil maniac," a ``fuehrer," and a ``terrorist" guilty of ``blatant genocide" -- and been rewarded for her invective with oceans of media attention.

What else can they say about Bush? That they want him killed?

IIRC it was made in canada. it was a very well made film that should be seen, if you can get it (try amazon). the film explores the investigation of the crime, and comes to a totally unbelievable ending that is flawed in many technical ways (with my background they are easy to see). the film is definitely not what you would call patriotic in it's conclusion, so you would probably enjoy it.

IIRC, the shooter was filmed closely as he took the shot. the rifle was shown in detail, and it was possible to read the maker's markings on the rifle. five minutes of research revealed that the prop used in the film was actually just an "airsoft" rifle that looked very much like the real deal. this kind of production gaff really blows my mind as an EBR (evil black rifle) enthusiast, but the substitution prolly allowed the producer to save the salary of a professional films armourer.

just out of curiosity i did a search in a shooting sports related forum where i used to post "Long Dong's Bootleg DVD Review" from time to time. i was suprised to see i had written 22 reviews of eclectic films ranging from Three Burials to Touching The Void to Flower And Snake to Death Of A President (12-21-06). here is the text:

saw this flick today, and have to say that i was impressed with the film making, but did not agree with the political statements made within the film. subtlety is an art, and one well implemented in this production. the viewer is left with an unsettling view of government process and a distorted perception of the tenor of american opinion.

highlights of the film included some wonderful shots of the president, speaking powerful words with great sincerity. lowlights included close-ups of the weapon selected for the deed (http://www.nashvilleairsoft.com/ind...emart&Itemid=37) . how an assination may be enacted from a range of 300 meters with an airsoft gun is beyond me.

the film maker needs to get a technical gaffer when dealing with content beyond his knowledge. spent casings ejected from an AR-15 do not land within inches of each other and make a short bounce on a hardened floor. iraq vets are also seldom photographed in country with an airsoft rifle. and yes, most terrorists really are radical muslim extremists.

oh, well, the unwashed masses will not know the difference.
