I've noticed a lot of TSC and NSC transfers from March and early April haven't gotten their RFE's yet, while late April and May NOA'ers have. Does anyone know if there's anything we can do or anyone we can contact about getting these RFE out (and preferibly in NOA date order)?

Timeliney Goodness

Late October, 2002 - Exchange PMs on a message board after being pointed towards each other by mutual friends.

December 30, 2002 - Meet in Edinburgh. I change plans to spend my second week of holiday with Chris.

After many, many trips back and forth...

September 27, 2005 - Chris comes over for three months to try the living together thing.

December 23, 2005 - We go to the UK to spend Christmas with his family (our first Christmas together)

January 4, 2006 - Chris almost doesn't get back into the country, but they end up letting him stay another three months.

February 14, 2006 - Attempted proposal. Aborted due to cold food and bad atmosphere.

February 17, 2006 - Successful proposal. Huzzah!

March 20, 2006 - Finally get I-129F Packet together and sent off to Texas Service Center.

We don't have ours yet either :crying:

March 6th NOA 1

Liefde is een bloem zo teer dat hij knakt bij de minste aanraking en zo sterk dat niets zijn groei in de weg staat

event.png

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

.png

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

I originally sent my petition to the CSC. I just sent back my RFE. All they wanted is some from to know if we met through an internatioal marriage broker or if I'm a criminal. Seems like a waste to me. Why don't they include that form in the petition package so they can have it from the beginning? Anybody have any idea how long I have left???

Summer of '04 - Started Talking to Leila on Yahoo Messenger

3/23/06 - Went to Cebu, Philippines to meet Leila & see her graduate. Also proposed during my trip.

4/30/06 - Leila left the Philippines to go back with her dad in Tokyo, Japan.

5/01/06 - Sent I-129F to CSC

5/09/06 - NOA1

7/29/06 - In Tokyo with my beautiful fiance!!

7/31/06 - NOA2 Approved while in Tokyo!!!!

8/06/06 - Just got home from Tokyo... Goodbyes are so hard :(

8/07/06 - NVC Recieves case

8/11/06 - NVC Sends case to Tokyo

8/17/06 - Embassy in Tokyo sends Packet 3 to Leila but she was in Atami

8/22/06 - Leila calls embassy and they tell her what she needs to mail in

8/23/06 - Send Packet 3

11/3/06 - Recieved Packet 4 (took longer than usual because my fiance is not a Japanese citizen so her

paperwork had to be verified with Korea... very irritating)

11/7/06 - Medical Exam

11/20/06 - Interview!!!

1/12/07 - Arrival in US

2/14/07 - Wedding

I'll keep my fingers crossed for us both! I am imagining that once the RFEs go in the cases should be processed in NOA 1 date order-but who knows? Nothing of this whole thing has made sense so far......

The whole thing stems from a law called IMBRA that was passed in early January to go into effect on March 6. Unfortunately, DHS and USCIS didn't have the new form (requiring these few extra questions) sorted out by the deadline and it took them three months after the deadline to get the forms sorted. Hence, all applications recieved after the law's effective date are subject to the law and need the new questions. Sharp eyed people here noticed it in April, about two months before USCIS said anything official about it.

Hey there RLT. If it's any consolation, I still haven't received my RFE either, and I have a Mar 6 NOA1, Mar 31 NOA2 and made it through pkt 3 at the embassy in Paris before they pulled the plug. I received emails and online updates from CSC that the RFE was mailed Monday, June 26, and another email today responding to one I sent them, that says the same thing: RFE is in the mail. How long can it take to get form CA to OR for crying out loud? Since I am a recall, just makes you wonder if they are jerkin my chain. I could have driven down there and picked it up myself before now. The whole issue of them dealing with the petitions on hold before they finish up the recalled previously approved petitions is very disturbing. I feel as if I am a second class citizen all of the sudden, and that the rules no longer apply, all for nothing I have done. Did you see the post today that another recall was advised to send a letter requesting expedited review along with the RFE,when and if they ever get one)?:crying::protest:
