This is not normal in Arab countries for anyone FYI. They might get away with it in Afghanistan or Pakistan but most places would think this guy was a creep.

i think the man is indeed a asocial personality disorder and is indeed f##ked in the head...

not an axis 1 or 2, and prolly not an axis 3.

the guy is jordanian. they consider this kind of thing normal in that culture if the woman isn't muslim.

that's the reason the company i work for (40K employees worldwide), and many others, will not let women travel to arab countries.

In words of VJ's most esteemed and highly-qualified poster:

... the honest observer will admit that stereotypes exist on basis of statistical probability, and that generalisations are statistically likely to be valid.

i had no idea i had such an adoring fan club.

"if you can't refute the message, shoot the messenger".

A fan club?

"the shooter" has an entire religion after his name to celebrate his sexual attractiveness, omniscience and general awesomeness.

Well, I am sure even if you hide they would find you and throw rocks at you, isn't that how they get your attention anyways? And the money....I am certain you spent ALL your money on the Arab men, because after all, they do consider this normal in their culture and hey....don't let Jordan get all the glory....the rest of the Middle East is part of this "culture" too. Anyhow, dude got it ALL wrong...it's the Muslim women that usually "get it." My husband beats me on a regular...actually, that is why I am trying to get him here because I miss the beatings .....

Sigh....I just love that in 2009, people still think the Middle East is so barbaric, 'cause we all know that people NEVER get robbed, threatened, raped, or let alone become psychotic here in the U.S.

Well, see, my husband purchased me for several camels, goats, and chickens (which laid the golden eggs that we pave our streets with here) and we lived as nomads until he got his visa. Then, once I was used to hauling all of his tents for him, he brought me back here with him to do more work but also alternately imprision me. He does have quite an arm, because he has been throwing rocks at tanks and evil westerners for all of his life, and has quite a musculoture from whipping all of his female relatives and general passers-by every day. Hopefully you can be reunited soon, it's hard to know you are guilty (in general through existence) and not receive the proper punishment.

ahh ^_^ the rock throwing.. one of the reasons I fell in love with my husband

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

These stats make it look as though the good ole US of A's culture says crime and theft is the norm.

I dont know...for Jordanian's, where according to JAS it is normal to rape and tourture..it looks half way safe. I guess they keep the rapings under rap in their secret sexy rape dens

how naive. a report on crime using statistics from countries proven to be inaccurate. the UN has about as much credibility as the tin pot dictators who dominate it.

you people really need to get out of America for more than just a vacation. you need to live in countries that are "low crime" in this report to understand the bull$hit in it.
