just finished talking to an operator again and told me that they received my last packet today 05/19/09

i guess i should wait until next week again... :-(

I am having my wife reverify this 3 times over but she called DOS today and they told her our interview is June 08,2009

This is a bit scary to only have 3 weeks notice.

Work is going to flip even with the pre-warning I gave them.

I am glad it came faster than expected but to this point no interview letter just phone call confirmation. We are anxiously calling everyone we can reach for physical documentation and verification.

thats a good news with all the means ..

i see your point for not having documentation ,but u r a CR-1 and u should receive an email that you will print and this is ur letter ....so call them again and let them generate and send it as soon as it can be

also one more tip for u .

as u see im fro Egypt ..my embassy state that if its 3 weeks and we didnt get an Interview letter so we contact them ..so u might do that if u still didnt get any letters ...

Thought I would come and hang out in here while I wait for my parents cases to be complete and get that magical interview date.

I hope to be case complete this week.

i agree! this wait really kills me... i keep calling them everyday,evey hour every time :D but AVR is so slow on updating.. thank god operator gave me new message that they have my package in their system.... i really dont like waiting but nothing we can do but to wait.... gggrrrggggrrr...

Oh! ok I though maybe there was something else that I didn't know, but thank you..

Now tomorrow morning I'm have an appointment at the Colombia Embassy in Miami becuase the last time that I went to see my wife in Colombia the guy from Colombian customs ( I don't know any other way to call them) told me that because I go there so often and because I'm traveling to be with my wife not as a turist that I have to get a conyugal visas! :wacko: like I need to go thru more paper work! I don't think I need it but let me see what they have to say at the Embassy tomorrow!

This process is driving me crazy!!! but today my wife had a sonogram and she send me the pictures that she got for the doctor and I saw my baby not even 3 inches long, 12 weeks and that keeps me going!!! :dance:

Hi, just called NVC tonight US time and was shocked when the operator told me that they need my original BC and MC.. Well, we sent certified copy from issuing entity so there shouldn't be any problem with that.. So I told her that those are certified copy from registry and civilize office in my country (BC) and also from the court (MC). She put those informations on their computer so the reviewer/supervisor can look at those docs again carefully. The funny thing, on the back part of our MC, there's a red seal from the court.. it is obviously a certified copy, but I think he/she forgot to look at the back page..

I hope he/she will continue reviewing my docs as soon as he/she see the information on their system and have a case complete this week.

2009-04-17 : NVC Received and assigned case # (18 days after NOA2)

2009-04-22 : Received DS-3032/I-864 Bill

2009-04-22 : Return Completed DS-3032 trough e-mail (accepted by NVC on May 04, 09, finally after 12 days)

2009-04-23 : Pay I-864 Bill

2009-04-28 : Return Completed I-864 (NVC upload in their system on May 1, 09)
