December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

Thanks again everybody!!! I got the best birthday gift from the Nepali electric company - they left the power on long enough that I could have a nice long chat with my husband... :D Lately he comes on for 5 minutes and then poof!!! :angry: Damn load-shedding...

The real celebration will be on 5/22 - watch for seismic tremors in the Kathmandu valley ;):wub:
