got an email from CRIS today... our file was forwarded to the California Service Center.

Does anybody know what that exactly means?

Do we have to wait even longer now??

We just found out Thursday we were also transferred to CA. Still no biometrics letter in site.

P.S. I could never figure out how to add our timeline to the spreadsheet and make it save. Could someone clue me in? Thanks.

Being forwarded to California is good, most likely they will prove your AOS right there, without an interview. I'm saying most likely because we (the April Filers) had two cases that were transferred to Cali and transferred back a few weeks later. But that doesn't seem to be usual. So be happy about it, probably less work for you.

open up the spread sheet....scrolls all the way to the bottom of the page...and u;ll see this:

Edit this page (if you have permission) – Published by Google Docs – Updated automatically every 5 minutes

click on "edit this page" which will open up a new window....add your information...and just close the spread sheet.....it will automatically save and show u the info within 5 minutes.....u dont have to save it manually.....

I recieved EAD letter from NBC(lees summit),not from local office.

Just a question....how do you know whether your application has been touched???

I did my biometric on June 12 for EAD. I still see the same message from back in May except it shows the date of June 12..a bit confusing!

I don't have any news yet either. But I am at the Detroit field office. I checked the EAD and AOS timelines here in VJ. We are still not the only ones not having the EAD, there are others who went about the same time as we did and are still waiting. So I hope we will have good news soon.

The AOS timeline for Detroit is also pretty long. I guess that office is just not the fastest one...people who applied beginning of this year are still waiting for interview dates or for being forwarded....so I don't know, maybe there are some local offices which are just slower than other ones. I hope that this is the only problem I got with my case.
