Didn't want to hijack Gary's thread - I spoke to Senator O'Bama's office today. They called CSC and were told that RFEs were sent out on Friday June 23. Why they didn't update the online status or send us emails is unclear.

I also asked about the processing order for petitions that were transferred from Nebraska to California - she said they are being handled in some specialized manner - I believe set aside into a separate group and processed as the RFEs come in. She wasn't 100% sure on what they are doing but they say they are going by NOA1 date.

So fingers crossed that it arrives BEFORE I leave on Friday!

Seems strange that they wouldnt send any emails out to notify us....considering the amount of inquiries they must be getting....

Perhaps they are just trying to make some proactive moves first and follow them up with red tape?

Here's hoping!!!!!!

NOA1 from CSC................March22

RFE recieved....................June 28th

RFE returned....................June 29th

RFE receipt by CSC ...........July 5th

Touched..........................July 26th

Touhced..........................July 27th

NOA2.............................July 31st...after 132 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

Packet 3 sent...................August 22nd

Medical...........................September 9th

I hope this is true. It certainly sounds believable, epecially coming from 2 different Senators offices.

If they actually went out Friday, perhaps someone in California might have it today. Then hopefully let us know of their good fortune!

Great news!!! I saw Gary's thread as well..... I like yours better, Friday sounds better than Monday. I leave on Thursday to see my love and am hoping I get something before then, highly doubtful though with snail mail from California.

This waiting is killing us.... she keeps asking how much longer..... I don't won't her to worry so I orignally told her the total process takes 9-12 months, hoping for less than 6. Now it seems like 9-12 months might be fast by CSC terms.

Ok, we now have 2 senators stating that RFE's are either coming or already on the way. Either CSC is moving or they are pulling our senators chain. I am hoping for moving. Still no touch or RFE yet though.
