I know every case is different, but when I see some people getting NAO2 in as little as 45 days and others as long as 190 days for K-1 I am sitting on pins chewing my fingernails.

What do you do to help pass the time. Almost everyone here is on a different time zone from their loved one, so taking the time to chat and talk on the phone needs to be scheduled.

I am a little lucky that I have been very busy at work (almost 14 hour days). I should get back to studying my chinese, but when I listen to my MP3 lessons it makes me homesick for her even more.

Try to keep yourself as busy as possible. I know it was really hard for me too. My husband and i are in the AOS stage of the k-1, and i know our situations are little bit different, my husband is from mexico and your fiance from china, and your waiting for this years NOA2s, but if you stay as busy as possible, and talk to her as much as possible, try SKYPE, you can talk to her face to face, and its FREE!!!!!!!! As for practicing your chinese, yah i can imagine that that would make you miss her more, after all she is the one would want to be practicing with, and everything. But if chinese is really something that you want/need to learn, then i dont see you being able to cut it out. I would recommend you skyping with her, and practice with her and talk to her, while you see her. I think it will really help. I filed my I-129F last year end of march, and my husband and i got approved August 11th, so 5 months, and then we got our fiance packet, and filled out the stuff and we were ready for his interview in december, and he was home for our first christmas together. I wish you luck, stay strong, i know its hard, and look into SKYPE.

Please complete a timeline so we are better able to assist you.

Have you recieved your NOA1 yet? Have they cashed your cheque?

If yes to both those questions, you have only been waiting two months which is still very early. Patience is a virtue. Good luck to you.

I worked 12 hours+ at my job and then worked until dark outside on remodeling my home and then until midnight inside preparing the house (I bought one of those "this old house" projects and accelerated my project schedule) PLUS preparing all the documents for the interview. I had all the interview documents ready to go before the NOA2. I was cleaning up the mess the from the remodel the day her plane arrived.
