but they let my fiancee in so I guess thats all that counts. I pretty disappointed, I took off work early for no reason and flew to the otherside of the world. Well at least she'll have someone to fly to America with when she gets approved! I should know in a few hours, wish us luck!

Can you tell us why they wouldnt let you in?

I was in that same embassy on many occasions & was never turned away so I am suprised to hear of this. I wasnt questioned at all; just showed my passport outside & at security inside & that was it. I have heard someting changed in BKK but dont know what that means.

Everything should go ok for you inspite of this. Lets hope so.

Well we showed up at about 6AM and stood outside for an hour and a lady with a clipboard came out and we showed our letter and said sorry sir only the visa applicant can enter. She didn't want to see my passport or gave anymore explanation. I tried to ask why and that I know other petitioners have gone in from the stories I've read but she just said sorry. I told my fiancee "Chok Dee" and now I'm back at our apartment. It's complete BS but oh well, what can I do.

thanks guys for the prayers and good wishes!

I heard awhile back some farang went wacky when his fiance was denied, so they dont let the USC spouse attend. I was allowed in with my wife to submit additional evidence. Hopefully you wont have to go through that
