how can we figure out the local office ? I live in a small town in Central Missouri and I'm pretty sure I need to go to either KC or St.Louis. Help please.

Cool, there are 3 new office in Miami opened Nov, 2008. I am assigned to one of the new ones, I wonder how fast or slow it is now in the new office ( I am in the Kendall Office), any1 have any experience w/ them? I know I am pushing it, but I hope to have my passport by September 9th, I am getting married and leaving the country for a honeymoon...

Our check was cashed yesterday, 4/14, and posted today! So much for "We attempted to deliver your item and a notice was left ..." bunch of hooey that USPS still proudly displays on their track & confirm site since April 8th! :bonk:

Told you guys, USPS tracking information is just as updated and accurate as the USCIS case tracking........ Something about govt agencies and online tracking that don't quiet work well together....

Had the same issue...but with Fed-ex...they delivered my packet on April 13, the status still shows 'at local sort facility'. Called & confirmed the delivery. I have had good luck with fedex usually, hopefully this is the only glitch of my n400 experience. :star:

05/16/2009: Received Letter for Biometric Appointment

05/26/2009: Biometric Appointment

06/19/2009: Interview letter received

07/28/2009: Interview Appointment - APPROVED

09/18/2009: Oath Ceremony - DONE

09/21/2009: Passport applied

I sent in my N-400 90 days before the 5 year requirement(My GC says I am LPR since 6/28/2004) but I sent in my application on April 2.

Does anybody know how USCIS works on applications sent 90 days before the official 5 year anniversary. I would think they would not approve the application but does anybody know if they do the legwork(finger printing, interview, etc) before the 5 year mark?
