12/06/2007: I-130 petition sent to Chicago Lockbox.

01/30/2008: Received NOA 1.

04/25/2008: I-130 APPROVED.

06/04/2008: Came to know about Visa Journey.com.

07/02/2008: CASE COMPLETED.

07/14/2008: Case transferred to Mumbai.

08/27/2008: Interview - Visa Approved

09/03/2008: POE-Chicago

09/04/2008: Applied for SSN

09/11/2008: Received SSN

10/27/2008: Received "Welcome Letter"

11/04/2008: USCIS mailed the approval notice

11/06/2008: Green Card Received !!!

02-04-2009 : Visited my wife for 2 weeks. 02-22-2009 come back to US

02-11-2009 : Received package from NVC

02-23-2009 : AOS Paid $70 (Online)

02-23-2009 : DS-3032 sent (by email)

02-25-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (AOS)

03-04-2009 : NVC has received the Choice of Agent DS-3032 (Online)

03-04-2009 : IV Application Processing Fees $400 (Online)

03-05-2009 : Payment Received from my bank (IV APS)

03-07-2009 : DS-230, and I-864 Sent (by USPS)

03-12-2009 : USPS confirm arrived at NVC for DS-230, & I-864

My husband finally picked up his visa on Friday. The letter we recieved said appear any wednesday and we took it to mean, pick up the visa. Anyway, when he went last Wednesday, they told him to leave his passport and actually pick up the visa on Friday at 2:00PM which he did. Took him about 20 minutes to do so. He will be here on April 22nd. POE, JFK. :dance:

Aww, thank you all so much. It's been a long journey for us but we are finally there. The embassy in Guyana was after all not as scary as i thought it was going to be, that is at least what my husband said. he was there i was not. Just want to say that to all you Guyanese out there, if you need my help let me know and please do a review of the embassy. Also, please stick around to help others. There just isn't enough information out there about the embassy in Guyana
