I am curious how it will turn out because usually tax transcripts, joint lease/title, and bank statements are the gold standard. You never know with USCIS though. I'd post it in the ROC forum once you get approved to show you don't need those things.

Hopefully I can get away with being lazy!

Wopps starting to freak out a little.

Our interview is tomorrow and we totally neglected our checklist. We are in the process of buying a house so the realtor and lender has been killing us with stress lately.

Hopefully we can pull ourselves together tomorrow and not be so invested in Real estate hassle!

Have some pics, proof of mutual bank account, same insurance, 401k, tons of cards from family from the wedding, facebook screenshots, phone bill, comcast bill.

I hops its enough!

There are many users who have a U.S. citizen as a spouse... How did you find your partners? I don't want to live here, to be honest! The U.S. is really the country I belong in.

Edit: I realized this was meant for Scandinavians... Please treat a young 18-year-old boy from your neighboring country, Finland, well!

Well seems like you just want to find a US partner just so you can move here?

Let me ask you this:

Have you been here before?

How long is the longest time you have spent here?

Have you looked into a student visa? You are very young (not that there is nothing wrong with that) but this might be a good option for you. Study here a few years and who knows maybe you find love while you are here.

Putting aside the obvious immigration fraud that is lurking in your sentiments, I'll appease your curiosity if only because I think "moving to America" for you also includes "interested in an American partner". I'm the American.

My husband isn't the first Scandinavian I have dated and I'm not particularly inclined to them so I don't know how that happened, but the first I met when we were teenagers and his family had recently moved over. We dated for a long time but never married. I met my current husband on a penpal website when we started talking about our shared religious beliefs and I was curious what it was like there as I was in the process of joining my bf who had moved back to a nearby country. Our relationship was rocky at best and I was 100% honest about what was going on, so it wasn't hard to end it when I met the most perfect guy ever. :luv:

I seriously hope that didn't make me sound terrible.

I met my Dane at a larp... I do not think you can really plan it at all... if its love you want, then I would say, once you stop looking for a partner you will find one! (Trust me, I was not planning on meeting my future husband 4k miles away on a trip in poland) but if you want to live in America, look into studying here through your local Uni, this will be easier for you, and more of a "test" drive on if this is the place for you. Do not risk committing fraud for a visa you can get through school. This will also spare potential feelings of someone that might not be aware you are only with them for their birth country.

Also, anyone in Copenhagen in MidNovember? I am going over to see the Mus and get some smooches, but I would love to stop and get coffee with some of you if you are in the area!!

Met in a magical castle in Poland through our mutual love for Harry Potter. Now can not wait to spend our lives together!
