No they send it to the embassy. The medical office sent the vaccination papers to my home (or a copy of it of course)

Quick question for anyone who has already filed for AOS- is there anything the beneficiary should get before leaving his/her country for the AOS application? I see that my fiance will need another copy of his birth certificate so he'll get one before leaving, but is there anything else that he should be gathering before leaving Sweden?

I would get more then one. We have 3 copies in english with us just in case.

You don't really need several copies of the birth certificate since you easily can order one online. The Swedish ones will have your address on them so I've learned that having one with your current address makes things easier. For some reason these things confuses people over here... Anyway a birth certificate in English ordered online will arrive in about 5-7 days

We technically can too but Americans are very ####### about their documents lol so even though they are very much valid it just saves a lot of time and hassle to always get one with a current address. It's small things like this I wish I had asked before I moved!

Btw Georgia16 , get your kids shot record in English from your doctor as a back up! And make sure your state doesn't have other requirements for attending school. Some states ask for more shots than immigration does...

The doctor at the medical made a copy of it for us with stamp and all so I can use it for the school to prove he has it all

They ask for Hep B too but he already got that one a while ago and it is stated on the paper too

RFE sent from Michigan to Texas today, should arrive on Friday... hoping for a quick and positive feedback from USCIS. Case delayed more than one month to get the requested document, get it translated and then sent to the US. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Just had my medical today in Gothenburg, it went really well and the doctor said I didn't need any vaccinations which is good I was kind of expecting to need at least a couple!

Does anyone know if I get a copy of the medical report after the results of my bloodwork come back? I read somewhere I need a copy to file for AOS in the future and I forgot to ask the doctor during my appointment.

I also got in touch with the embassy about my birth certificate not having my parents DOB and they said it's not a problem

Might be different on the K-1 or depending on who interviews you but when I got my visa packet, they had included a copy of the medical report for my records.

Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Their status updates are not 100% reliable.
