I really feel like an idiot here but my husband received this email and I am a little confused as to what exactly we need to do. He isn't online to chat about it and I am freaking out as usual!

"MISSING DOCUMENT LIST FOR: ****************

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

______DS-230-I:____________________________________________________

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support (I-864). However, we are still waiting for the

Immigrant Visa fee(s). Please submit the fee(s) according to the instructions on the IV fee bill sent to

you from NVC. If you have not received an IV fee bill, please contact NVC. Do not pay the fees unless

you have the accompanying IV fee bill as this will result in a delay in processing your case."

I submitted a DS230-1 and all our fees are paid, it says so online! It was paid a month ago? Any insight as to what we do now? Call them and tell them?

If your husband paid the IV Bill, please call NVC and see if the payment has actually gone through. There have been a few members who have had this happen to them recently, they paid the bill, it shows paid in one system, and not in another.

Call NVC speak to an opeartor, and ask for a supervisor, who will then put in a request for investigation. Do not pay again.

I agreed with Queuedup, it happened to me. All your husband needs to do is call NVC everyday to comfirm the money is pay, and ask them to clear the NOT PAID out of the system. I have to called everyday to check and make sure all PAID are in my system.

Just an observation but I know of other filers receiving emails similar to yours long after they had paid the fee. I'm wondering if this is just a reflection of the relatively new method of coresponding via email by NVC. It might take a little time for them to work the bugs out. As always the best way to know, as others have noted, is to call NVC.

Thanks for the reassuring replies. My husband mailed a copy of the receipt today. I guess it must just be a glitch/delay in the new email system but we just mailed it in again just in case. Thanks again :)
