Voting based on some infernal drivel called a 'party platform' is just sheepish behavior in my ever so humble opinion. Now, you might not like that answer because you can't jump up and down and say 'see, see, see you wouldn't vote for GOP ideology' Too bloody right I wouldn't but HERE IS THE THING, I wouldn't vote for Democratic Ideology either.

So you'd vote for a competent candidate regardless of their position on issues rather than an incompetent candidate which better refects your (non)views. That's probably not your thinking but you don't offer more criteria to figure out any rational way to make decisions in a voting booth.

Its part of Obama's master plan to destroy the US economy.

What, George's plan wasn't good enough? Obama has to come up with a new plan of destruction?

Time and some pesky Dimocrats in Congress stalling what they could to hinder that plan I suppose.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Wouldn't the criteria for one to assess a candidates competency logically be based on their postitions on issues that reflected your views?

Deport their a$es! If they come to this country to make a mess instead of working, that's a big NO NO

They are working...at commiting crimes. But when you have an illegal population that breaks any and all laws that they find inconvenient to obey...the chickens come to roost for America. Illegal is as illegal does.

Yeah yeah you keep on generalizing, at least I have a brain that lets me deduce if there are gray areas between white and black.

Besides I don't see the point on having a discussion with somebody whose ideas are so biased. Avoid answering to my posts I really don't care about your opinion.

What part of illegal confuses you??

Confusion abounds in the minds of illegal-lovers. No logic applies to them, too.

Not if you don't want to know what a candidate believes in because it's ideology. Got to remember Cleo has no stated views on any issues so that can't be used to decide on a candidate.

Are the borders 'open'? I always thought all the borders had controlled entry. Perhaps I don't need a passport after all?

you've apparently not been to southern arizona, new mexico, or texas have you? miles of sand and tumbleweeds, not a border crossing site (or person) for miles.

Many of the MS-12's,Mara Salvatruchas,Raza 33's came here when they were babies so when they get deported back to wherever they're from they are very confused because some no longer speak Spanish or remember the "old country."

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again, still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm

Then they can start gangs back in their homeland while they learn to speak Spanish again.

Most likely, they'll end up doing errands for the gangs who are already established.

that should be an incentive to behave, but apparently not.

That's a good place to start. At least it gets them out of the US.

Not to mention the fact that them being "illegal" really plays no part in this story. They were "gang bangers" period. They could have very well been legal, US citizens and the outcome would have been the same. They just gotta throw that illegal word in there to get people even more riled up at the situation.

I couldn't agree more.

Which unfortunately... is what happens. They then focus on the supply side of the drug trade to the US.

The headlines is used to stir strong feelings towards illegals, nothing more.

Pretty much.

Illegals. Sheesh!

You must hate brown people. ZOMG!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
