Well...Have not heard of so many this week with completed case @ NVC...but we have quite a few fellows, who are atually waiting for the case to be completed by next week inshAllah...

A couple people got their case complete at end of last week and i did see 1 or 2 this week post it also. We are just waiting complete also hopefully by the end of the week or early next week. I don't see how cases coming in from the service centers affects the completion process since the initial letters for new cases are generated when they are scanned in and that happens in the mail room

And yes, there are varying waiting times depending on the consulate. For those of us completed and waiting for Montreal interviews we are probably looking at late April - May. But I would be very happy to be proven wrong and it is earlier. :yes:

Yes, it depends on your consulate. Some consulates like the one in Manila have a longer waiting time for visa interviews. Best bet is to ask someone from Canada to get a realistic time frame.

Anyone here who had got their case at NVC complete this week? When I talk with a operator they told me they have got in many cases the last weeks from the Service Centers,,,

We and Moosker got our case completed on 25th FEB. Now to the waiting time for an interviews date...possible and hoping for APRIL!

START GETTING ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS READY AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXTRA COPIES OF EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE CERTIFIED COPIES. FROM HERE ON IT WILL GO FAST... IF IT WASN'T THE HOLIDAY AND THE RFE, I WOULD HAVE COMPLETED MINE IN 2 WEEKS... GOODLUCK...!

Does NVC assign the interview date then send the case or is the case sent to embassy and then a date is assigned? From the many case here it seems that once a case is complete at NVC it then gets an interview date if that case made it by the cut off date for the following month and then it is forwarded to the proper embassy. Is this right?
