It is very normal for the line to be busy during the morning. Try again in about an hour, or after 6pm Eastern Time.

Yep! I've been trying to call and I get a busy signal... it's 11:50 am eastern time.. I thought they EDIT: were close at 6 pm eastern??

I find that around 930 is a good time, but not today...i have called about 5 times and get the message that i can call back later.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Yes, it is Midnight eastern time. If you call after 10pm eastern, you can usually speak to an operator within a couple of minutes.

We always called them late in the evening. No waiting at that hour.
