Hi,

I am K-1, got married, applied for AOS, paid $1010,00, got my NoA on Nov 02, 2008, went to my Biometrics Appointment on Dec 6, 2008 and since NEVER heard A THING.

Is that normal? 3 months down the road, there gotta be something, shouldn't there be?!

Thanks so much for helping an anxious applicant...

BLESSINGS!

We're in the same boat. Did the biometrics in early Dec and still showing as pending. It is frustrating but at least he is here this time waiting with me unlike the 17 months it took to get his visa.

You should know by now the government works at it's own pace and doesn't hurry for anyone. A bunch of paper pushers who get paid to do very little.

We filed Dec. 4, received our NOA1 Dec. 11, got Biometrics for Jan. 6. Our online status shows the last update was Jan. 7.

We received our Advanced Parole yesterday, even though the case status still shows the last update on Jan. 7. So yeah, not sure if the case statuses are properly updating. :(

Based on the amount of applications the USCIS receives they actually work pretty fast. Over the past months with the increase in applications they have hired more employees and contractors, increased overtime work and started shift work.

It may seem slow when you look at your individual case, but I'm pretty sure you will find the employees there are just as hardworking as the rest of us.

...got my NoA on Nov 02, 2008....

That's 110 days since your NOA. When it's been more than 90 days, they'll put in a service request for you if you ask them to.

Good luck!
