Ok. So mine is not so good...hahaha maybe why I want to hear others. That way I can live vicariously....although our proposal was so.."us" so it works.

We were out eating dinner...He said, "I love you"...I said, "I love you too."... he said. "I want us to be together..." ...i said, "We really should get married."....He said, "Ok."

That was it.

Then...when I was in Oz for the wedding, about a week before we were in this rainfores thing...where you can climb up to the top of the trees. Really nice, pretty, quiet...fairly romantic. On the TOP of the little look out thing....he was acting all weird...and like shaking. I thought it was the height..the next thing I know he's down on one knee and produces a ring. I was shocked. I asked him why he was nervous since our wedding was a week later...

It was cute though.

awww...since mine just happened umm....on May 24th of this year it is very fresh on my mind!

Here goes..

Chris and I planned an afternoon of a hike and a picnic. After lunch we took off to explore around this lake. We got almost all the way around and walked out on the dam to look over the water. I was standing in front of him and he was fumbling around behind me but still standing close. Then I see his arm move beside my head and in his hand was a black box open...*laugh* he then said "Is this what you have been snooping around for??"*seriously I am terrible* He then moved me away from the water, I am sure worried that he would drop the ring and got down on a knee and ASKED!!

I said yes.

It was such a beautiful day! No one was at this lake...the water was sparkling. Beautiful! ONLY regret was that I looked a mess...wearing hiking clothes and so I look like a scruff! However Chris says I looked wonderful...I know he lies! Haa

I woke up to a stuffed black lab (same as our real dog) with a note under it's paw saying "my master wants to know if you will marry him" and a ring around it's neck. I turned around and Dave was on bended knee beside me. Awwww

I like telling my story, so here goes:

I was living in Paris for a year, going to school and seeing how things would work between Amed and me. Things were great, we were so in love, etc. I knew it was coming because we'd talked about marriage, but I didn't know when he'd do it. Well, I had been pestering him to take me on a picnic at this really cool park in Paris, so he finally said he would go. He told me to meet him there one morning because he had some business to take care of and it was easier just to meet at the park. I grabbed my dog, took a million different metros to the park, got stuck on a slow train, etc., so I was running behind. He called me a million times wondering where I was.

I get to the park, and he calls me again. I can't figure out which entrance he went in because what he was describing didn't look like where Iwas. I thought he was on the other end of the park, so I was about to start running that direction to meet him, when out he pops from around the corner. He was wearing a suit, had a huge bouquet of flowers, and a big grin. I can't even remember what he said at this point, but it was something about how much he loved me and wanting us to be together. In his hand is a ring. I looked behind him, and my mom was sitting on a bench taking pictures of the whole thing! The "business" he had to take care of was picking her up from the airport! He had arranged for her to fly in as a surprise for me.

So of course, I said yes, and there are pictures of me in my ratty jeans and flip-flops holding on to my dog's leash as Amed wears his immaculate suit and puts a ring on my finger.

It was such a great day! Even though we never did have the picnic.

I had just got back from visiting him in England.......We were on web cam and i just said i have something to ask you he responds "WOT"

People say to me dont you feel weird being the female asking the male to marry you... and i just say NOPE...I knew what i wanted and i got it and we love each other and thats all that really matters.

Nah, It was cute really. We met on Myspace, so he figured he would propose on Myspace! He sent me a message telling me to check out his profile- and on it he had one of those poll boxes and the question was 'Laura Will you Marry me?' . I was so excited I ran to the kitchen where he was and gave him a huge hug and said yes

Part of me thinks he was perhaps a bit too wimp to ask face to face

No formal proposal for us either. We just knew we would get married someday, and then when I thought it might be a good idea to come back to the U.S., we decided it'd also be a good idea for him to come too!

His proposal was the most romantic ever! He was in Brazil for 2 days, and we went to this beach called Baln. Camboriú in South Brazil. He said he had the ring with him all along, hiding (we were at the beach and i didn't notice him hiding the ring box in his shorts, which was unconfortable) and waiting for the perfect moment. Then he decided to leave the ring home and propose at night (all without my knowledge).

So at night we went find a nice restaurant, we wanted to eat sea food. So after the dinner, after watching me eat shrimps with heads, tails, legs, and shell and getting freaked, still he convinced me to go for a walk so he could propose (still without my knowledge). Oh, and he had the ring box again on his shorts during the walk and the restaurant.

So we went for a walk at the beach, he stopped me right in front a Mc Donalds(that was a coincidence, he wanted to stop in front of the island), and the island we could see from the beach had its lights on (it's not always on), it was so pretty, and i was like ''wow finally, i thought u'd never ask'' then he proposes, a grown up man on his knees shaking, only we women can do that

Anyway, it was extremely romantic and i'll remember it for the rest of our lives
