01-24-2014 Received NOA dated 01/14 in the mail

02-20-2014 1st Service Request created for delayed biometric appointment letter

03-01-2014 Received 'yellow' letter in the mail

03-28-2014 2nd Service Request created since the 1st request had no response from the assigned Service Center

04-07-2014 Received biometric appointment letter in the mail

04-25-2014 At last, my biometric appointment!!!!

06-09-2014 Interview - recommended for approval!

I had the biometrics last Thursday, April 9 and still can not see my case online.

:unsure:

Frustrating but looks like many people are having the same problem.

My Timeline - Adjustment of Status

CIS Office : Chicago IL

2009-02-27: AOS package sent

2009-03-02: AOS package received at CIS Office

2009-03-13: NOA1 received

2009-16-03; Biometrics Appointment letter received

2009-04-09: Biometrics

2009-05-01: EAD received

2009-06-16: Interview letter returned undeliverable

2009-06-22: Called URSCIS to request letter to be resent

2009-07-02: Interview letter received

2009-07-30: Interview @ 8:00am ' APPROVED - CARD ORDERED'

2009-08-12; Green card received!

That is not a big deal. So many people can not see their status on-line either including myself !....

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share my good news.... I got my interview letter today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy when my hubby called and said that interview letter came and the date is for May 14th..... I was beginning to feel at a lost, because I haven't heard anything since my biometrics on March 10. Imagine my surprise and joy when I find out the interview letter came. I mean my status USCIS website hasn't even been updated, it still says info has been received and they'll get back to me for more info if needed. I haven't even heard anything about my EAD yet.... but I'm happy anyway because Greencard trumps EAD any day!!!!!

Another bit of good news from the government :)

She got her AP document today and she's super excited to visit friends back home soon. Seeing mail from the DHS is a welcome thing these days.

Now I just hope when she gets back that her EAD arrives soon as well.

Gratz to others who have received dates, interviews, etc :)

Had my biometrics done on March 20th and I still can't see anything online either.

I got an RFE in the mail a few days before my bio apt and while it was only for some proof of income evidence, which I sent straight back, I still reckon it's ruined my chances of having my application forwarded to CSC without an interview.

To be honest I've almost given up worrying about it. :rolleyes:

hi, a good news..... I got my EAD and AP today, they just came like that, it was a really good surprise. But when I checked again on USCIS website, the status is still received and pending...... so maybe they don't update it any more??

As of tomorrow.... I am legal to work...... so happy.... and hopefully the green card will come soon.

Hi "Cino" please update me, i received a notice today for "initial interview" this May 13' 09. I'm kinda worried though why it's an initial interview ;) It seems that there will be another interview?

Timeline:

2-02-08: Honey arrived in Manila

2-04-08: travel down to my hometown, Zamboanga

2-07-08: Our Engagement day

2-27-08: 1129F sent to CSC

2-29-08: NOA1

3-02-08: first touch

7-11-08: 2nd touch- APPROVED!!!!

7-14-08: received email from CRIS that our petition has been approved July 11'08

7-16-08: received hardcopy of NOA2 in our mailbox

7-23-08 hard copy from NVC

7-28-08 paid delbros for DV

8-19-08 medical (LORD, pls. keep me physically fit)

8-27-08 Interview, got pink slip, praise God

9-05-08 received my visa, had my CFO the same day

9-06-08 flight to US, POE LAX

11-08-08 wedding day

11-12-08 ssn application under my husband's name

02-26-09 sent AOS packet to Chicago Lockbox thru USPS Express

02-27-09 recieved & signed by V.Bustamante

03-05-09 cashed check

Yes it does say "Initial Interveiw". But I think they all do since it will be out first one... Perhaps I am wrong... We are super excited and grateful for all of this!

08.26.08 - 2nd medical exam completed at st. lukes, NEGATIVE SPUTUM EXAM

08.29.08 - interview at USEM (with PINK SLIP!)

09.03.08 - at 3pm, USEM released passport for delivery - accdg to Delbros' website

09.06.08 - US visa in my hands (with 11.15.08 as expiration date)
