Good morning everyone!!!

How is everyone doing?? Any other approval this week? Please post!!

Doing alright, It's been almost 5months since I have moved away from my wife and kids. I am soo bored here without them. It seems that nothing falls into place as it should. Still waiting on ITIN number for my wife so I can file my 2006, 2007, and 2008 taxes, then I can order the Transcripts (to be ready this is the Last thing I need for NVC). House in Canada is not selling. Kids are being kids and getting into trouble as they should. I feel bad for my wife as she is the one taking care of everything in Canada. I'm just down here working and dealing with the immigration stuff.

Questions (NVC Prep)

Copy of Biographic Page of Passports - Do these need to be Notarized? Do I send the Original Passports?

Passport Photos - for wife and kids? Is there an age restriction on the photos (Do kids under certain ages not require Photos)?

I'm still waiting for my mother to mail me my noa2...obviously she doesn't truly understand how I might need a piece of paper so badly....ah well.

I was just wondering....do any of you guys know the number I'm supposed to call to ask about my noa2 and whether or not it has been accepted or forwarded to nvc yet and whether I got a number or not? If you do could you guys please post it here...and possibly the method with which I could get to talk to a rep....or however it is I can get the status on my file?

Do you think I would need anything from the noa2 in order to find out the status? Like a number or something...or do I just use my WAC one?

Congrats to all that got their noa2's...and GOOD LUCK to everyone who is moving on to/with nvc.

And.....don't worry, it'll happen soon enough for you Taj. Weren't you the one praying you'd get yours a bit later than earlier so that you could get prepared for nvc??? Maybe god listened....lol. Inshallah all will happen in good time for you. I'm sure....your always in my prayers.

You all are. :D

I think the best thing to do is to call NVC. There number is 1-603-334-0700 and check if they have recieved your case from USCIS. You can call them from Pakistan. diall 00 and then the above number. Just to save your time, press 1, then 1 and then 1 again and it will ask you put your recipt # WAC#. Best of luck to you!!!

I do not think there is an age restrictions on the Photo. You just need the copy of the Passport and I do not think that it needs to be notarized. But the other documents should be originals or Certified true copies. Good luck!!!

Or you can call NVC to talk to an operator by pressing 1, then 5, to find out if a NVC case number has been assigned to your case yet. You can also ask the operator if the DS-3032 and AOS fee bill have been generated. If they haven't yet, you can give the operator your email address so you will get emails from them about your case status. Goodluck!

You don't need to notarized the bio page of the passports. As for the passport photos, you need 2 copies for each beneficiary. Best of luck to you and your family.

waiting for the NOA2 hard copy to arrive...

I thought I could handle all the tax filing stuff by myself, I had my husband mail me a signed w7 form to send with my tax return, and after I finished it all and was ready to go to post office to mail it, I realized that I am an idiot: if we are filing married jointly then the husband needs to sign the 1040 as well...

I am so mad at myself, no way will I make the 4-15 deadline now, so I am going to go down to a local tax office and see if I can file an extension or whatever....

Are you in a community property state?? If so you can sign it for him. AND if you are getting a refund then it doesn't matter when you file.

Another Feb 09 CSC filer approved, but I do not think he is in our list.

Good luck to all still waiting for NOA2!!!

Not only him... We had few other people in Feb filers, and I did put them on my spreadsheets. I find these people randomly by reading other posts. Some of them don't have their timeline updated, so that's why they don't appear on the stats.

I get a log on screen for google spreadsheet. Is that because too many people are viewing it at once?
