There are more problems in the Middle East for OFWs than for spouses coming to the USA.

Just saying.

S.E Asia, Japan, and Korea are not exactly safe as well. Seems the wives are getting a little jealous of Filipina's working in the customer relations field, and Taiwan has started laying off Filipino nurses for some reason.

A few things that I saw on my 2 trips to the Philippines kind of made me sick.

My first trip, we went to Puerto Galera. Only saw 1 foreigner there (a white male). This guy was probably in his 50's, and he was with this Filipina who looked like she was about 18. I got pretty disgusted.

My second trip, we went to Boracay. I saw a bunch of foreigners, but 3 in particular caught my attention. These 3 (all white males) were between the ages of 60 to 75, each with a Filipina between probably 18 to 25.

When I see stuff like this, I get very disgusted. Although there is a 1% chance that they're together for love, it's pretty much a guarantee that they're just using each other.

I can't stand seeing stuff like this when there's an age gap of 30 years or more.

Right, but keep in mind that your posting on a forum where there are many members who have significant age gaps between them and their loved ones. Not just from the Philippines but other countries as well. Some of them take offense easily, so tread carefully! :thumbs:

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
