Wow, Enzo is big :) Awesome that his hernia has healed nicely.

Caro - Declan hated tummy time. A lot of babies do. When he was a bit older, I got a baby einstein gym that he loved, so it made tummy time a bit more tolerable.

Twila - How many teeth do they have?

Well, Declan is preparing for a promising future as a MMA fighter  He accidentally head butted me in the nose tonight so hard I actually cried (and I really am not a wuss, I swear!). My nose was bleeding and I was worried he might have broken it. Thankfully, it seems okay. Poor kid ... he wasn't hurt at all, just totally shocked by mommy's reaction. He kept trying to kiss my nose and patting my face which, unfortunately, made it hurt more. Oh well :)

Nessa@ Sofia just screams like if she is amaze by her voice, we call it 'singing" it's really funny but not at 4am !

Today we went for Sofia's first big playdate, right across the street from my house is a church and they just started this "playdate group" for kids from 0-5 years old, every Tuesday from 11am-12.30pm, the cost is $50 for the year and $5 for every session. Hubby didn't like the "catch" but I went to check it anyway. It was really nice, but most of the kids were around 2 years old and Sofia was the baby of the group, they had story time, bubble time, singing time, arts and crafts, snack time, play time, it was really nice but didn't convince me 100% . One of the reasons of why I want to sign in is beacuse my "best mommy friend" that I hang out with all the time is going on vacation to Brasil for about 4 months and that means that I will be by myself the whole winter :crying: until she comes back in April, so at least this place will give me the opportunity to meet new mommies. What do you think, should I sing up or not?

Jenn@ Sending you a big hug! We (L) P.F Chang too! hang in there mamma!!!!

Girls do you have a good web site or some good recipes of how to make baby food?

@Vi: Check out www.meetup.com and see if you find a playgroup for you and Sofia. You shouldn't have to pay so much money for the kids to play. Especially since Sofia won't really play togehter with other kids until she's 2+ years old. Our playgroup has outings, moms night out/in, bubble time, potlucks etc. and all I pay is 7 bucks/year.

Good luck.

Vi - I make Enzo's food. Right now it's mainly butternut squash, spinach, mashed potatoes, applesauce. I tend to steam the veggies or fruit and put in my food processor. I puree the hell out of it till it's smooooooth. That's it. Dr said that if we wanted to give him any table food to do just what we're doing. I'm cool with just working on fruits and veggies, and giving him the yogurt. Little guy is happy - he eats the squash and spinach blend like it's icecream. :star:

Zak has 2 teeth and is working on 1 or 2 more. It's kind of hard to tell because you dare not stick your finger in his mouth for fear of losing it! Hana is up to 5 with these last three.

I feel sorry for you. I swear that babies just don't know how to control themselves. My mom likes to do "Eskimo kisses" with them. Every time she ends up getting head butted!

wow, I had to search to find the baby corner, whats going on?

Ben is finally adjusting to the nursery school, which may in part be due to a certain "girlfriend", he likes. Her name is Ellie and I even approve of her, lol. She is the cutest little girl. They hug each other "bye bye" every day, and he couldn't stop saying her name on the way home today, haha.

@Vi: yes chekc out meetup. You may even get lucky and find a peruvian playgroup. NYC area is so diverse. I found a german playgroup through that website.

Woo hoo! Zak crawled twice tonight. Of course, each time involved eating. First time he crawled, ever, and Mom got to see it! Hana stole his bottle and he crawled over to get it back! Then, I put his dinner in the air near him and he crawled towards it!

Chnst@ I wish I can find a peruvian group, but I live in an Italian area so I doubt it. .

Vi: What is your zip code? I did find a peruvian playgroup but I don't know where in NYC that was located at. You might have to travel a little bit but it is definetely worth it and better than paying 50 bucks for someone to blow bubbles.
