I looked in the car manual but it doesn't say anything. Ben weighs around 28lbs and with the weight of the carseat I think we are at 40lbs. I guess I will call the manufacturer or google that before I can rest assured about the latch. My goodness, so many things you have to worry about. Oh, and my carseat has the sticker, restricting the weight to a total of 40lbs. I took the whole thing apart today and washed the covers. If there is one piece of advice I have for other parents - do NOT ever let your child have milk in the car. It took me hours to take it apart and re-assemble and re-install that monster. That reminds me- I think there is also a weight limit for rear-facing children. I want him to ride rear facing as long as possible but I think he is getting close to thaty weight limit too. Got to re-check that.

Kaila is so cute, I can't believe how much she has grown!

Ben is 17 months old today... time flies.

Kaila is so cute!!!

Well, my hubby has been in school for a month now and it has certainly been a challenging one. I think I was spoiled, because if I had a long day with challenging clients, I could come home and hubby would take Declan and let me chill for a little bit. Now, I have Declan from right after work M-W until hubby gets home between 8-9. I love the 1:1 time with Declan, and on most days, it is fine, but on days with crises with clients or something like that, I am ready to rip my hair out!!! I'm finding it so hard now to balance this mommy stuff when hubby is in school ... because before, I always had him as a backup if a client was in crisis and I couldn't get to daycare on time. Now, 3 days a week, I absolutely have to book it out of my office to get Declan before daycare closes. The other day, I was nearly late because a client issue kept me at the office .. and in the scheme of things, it was fairly mild. I am worried about how to help my client AND still get Declan when a serious issue arises (and trust me, it will!).

@Chnst: The rear facing limit for the Marathon is 35lbs. If the same goes for the Boulevard then Ben has a few more months left in it :). In my car it doesn't say anything either about the weight limit so I'm going with the 40lbs limit that is stated on the seat.

I'm still hoping I will go soon - 37 weeks is full-term. The respiratory concerns are more for elective C-sections before 40 weeks. Of course, I want a healthy baby. I think everyone can understand wanting to have the baby at this point.

Welcome to the "I'm done being pregnant" stage :D

I'm so happy you made it to full term! way to go Jenn!!

Caro

Yep. He crawls...last night he saw a glass frog that my hubby bought for me on a low shelf. I couldn't believe he crawled right over to it, picked it up and was about to put it in his mouth when I snatched it from his little paw.:wacko:
