The California Service Center must be working in high gear! We filed to remove conditions on October 28 2008, November 26 2008 we did biometrics, then just yesterday January 14 2008 my wife's green card showed up in the mail! Thank you everyone who has been so helpful on this site along the way!

20 yr olds GREEN CARD COMES!!!!!...he is safe....04/09

my son lance joined the vermont national guard..04/25/07

he is leaving for oklahoma for basic training...09/19/07

graduated basic, left for texas to study to become a medic.......12/03/07

he is now a certified medic!!!!......

sent pkg on........ dec 26th, 2008

rec'd sons green card extension.......jan 6th, 2009

check was cashed.............jan 6th, 2008

rec'd son's NOA.........jan 22nd, 2009

rec'd mine and my son's fingerprinting apt...jan 22nd, 2009

fingerprint apts............Febuary 3rd, 2009

touched...both of us...............Feb 4th, 2009

rec'd my extension letter...02/14/2009

re'd our approval letters.....05/15/2009

received our 10 yr cards...06/19/2009

Lance is now deployed to Afghanistan

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

12/30/2008: Overnighted I-751 package to VSC

01/06/2009: Check cashed

01/06/2009: NOA (arrived 01/09/09)

01/23/2009: Biometrics appt letter received

01/31/2009: Biometrics scheduled

05/20/2009: APPROVED

06/23/2009: 10 Year Green Card arrived

Wow, that is fast. I just sent in my stepson's yesterday. I hope it goes that fast too. Then I'm done with the USCIS for about 9 1/2 years, unless my wife or son decides to become a citizen.

Yeah no kidding. they are working on December 2007. I filed for my wife in June and she got her 1 yr extendstion. If they are only on December, then I think she can apply for USC before she gets her green card.

I sent in for my step son to get his after 2 yrs of putting it off, he was transfer to CSC

As if people whose files are at VSC didn't need more Agonizing posts, trust me I'm happy for you people at CSC, But having to wait 1 year + isn't fun, Congrats for living in the right location for this file!!

I hope this is a sign for us - we mailed ours 4 days before you. I hope you don't mind if I add you to the CSC list just to keep track of these fast turn arounds. thanks!

Started our visa journey Jan 06.

01-06 - I-130, K3 shortly after

04-06 - switched to Canada Immigration

07-06 - Moved to Canada (PR almost complete)

07-06 - Changed again, back to US imm.

09-06 - Landed as Canadian PR

10-06 - DCF Toronto, Approved in 1.5 hrs!

11-06 - Interview Montreal (success!)

I-130

10-05-06 DCF in Toronto - Approved

10-19-06 Packet 3 received & sent back

10-20-06 Montreal receives P3

11-03-06 Packet 4 received

11-06-06 Medical

11-22-06 Interview / Visa approved

11-26-06 heading home, 6 day drive, my oh my

HOME SWEET HOME

10.24.08 - Mailed I-751 to CSC

Delivered at 9:03 AM on October 25, 2008

10.29.08 NOA1

10.30.08 Check cashed

12.06.08 Biometrics Appt.

12.19.08 Received new Drivers License extended to 2011

03.12.09 Received CONGRATULATIONS letter - Card on the way!!

03.20.09 Received his SHINY new card. WOO HOOOOOOO

YAY!! We can take a break from this madness until Citizenship.
