But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

My bags did not arrive in Cairo when I did, and my flight came in late, so after 45 minutes of trying to handle my luggage issue Mohammed was the only person standing in receiving when I finally shuffled out with my stupid little carry-on. I saw him and I can honestly say everything in my reality just stopped. His smile was like the sun and I forgot all my fear, frustration and fatigue.

He was like a fast-forward version of the person I had become accustomed to on the internet and telephone. He was much more bouncy and bubbly and inquisitive. He wore me out! But we were delighted with each other and found it was even better then we could have imagined actually physically being together could be.

Now, if we could just FINISH this lovely process and re-visit that lovely level of togetherness again we will be very happy campers.

Met my husband in person BUT...

We would be apart for LOOONG periods of time. Each time I would see him after those long separations he always looked hotter than I remembered...and like others have said...his smell ...and his arms around me...

<swoon>

Can't believe I Get to do that every day now :)

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

Well, all we had was a few photos of each other....we never used the cam. The ports of his motherboard are faulty and I was uncomfortable with how I looked on cam.

The body gestures were what got me.....you have absolutely no way of knowing that by photos alone! And I'm not sure a cam would show that accurately. After he went home from his first visit, we would cam periodically when he could get to his brother's machine, and really caming is so unnatural and NOTHING like having the real live person before you.

Oh...and the tallness....yeah it was pretty overwhelming to take in during the first moments!!!!

He just looked perfect :luv:

Thats the way I would describe Dan too :luv:

He was exactly as I knew he would be. That first real gaze into each others eyes....the touch, the kiss.....the warm embrace, that is etched in our hearts and minds forever. Pics and on cam he may of been hot but nothing beats real time.
