Well we had our interview this morning. The interviewer was nice asked all the standard questions. We had to volunteer our pictures. He stepped out of the room and came bak shortly. He said everything looked good however, they are still waiting on the FBI check. So 19 months of waiting so far and we keep on waiting. Truly dissapointed.

None taken, Steffi, don't worry. (L) I don't understand it at all myself. In the beginning, I thought I would have to wait a long time and those in Canada and Europe would get their processes completed very quickly. I just told our room mate it's hard for people to figure out when their turn will come when there is no trend to rely on.

When our interviewing officer told me I was approved because all my paperwork's in order AND my background checks came back all clean, I had to ask him to repeat that because I had gone to the interview fully prepared to be told my checks weren't back yet. The officer told me Indiana still has 300 cases pending background checks. I asked him what were the major factors that play in these checks, and he said: "Applicant's name and country of origin."
