I have to run around today and get stocking stuffers that I forgot about AND some of my family's presents having arrived in the mail yet so I might have to go and get some gift certificates to hold them over. This holiday season is one I can't wait to see go actually only because my house might be foreclosed on soon so the waiting and not knowing where we're going to live is brutal. Each day I'm on pins and needles while my fate is in the hands of negotiators and mediators. Oh well, whatever will be will be and all that.

oh nooo.. can you maybe refinance it? is there something I can do to help you keep your house? If ANYTHING happens, my home is always open for you. I know it's far away but it is here if u need it.

Merry Christmas everybody. I'm sad today coz I'm stuck in Tuckin' Fexas and my family is all in MO. They are all getting together and this is my first Christmas in 29 years that I won't be with them. This just feels horrible and to me...it's not Christmas if I don't have the love of my family around me. Hubby and kiddo are awesome but they're not mom and dad, grams and gramps, etc...

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

I know the feeling. We went to my family and just got home last night. I was a little bummed because usually Christmas Eve/Day are a huge family time for us. First time in 24 yrs I'm away :( Have a great day everyone!

I-130 delivered : 6-12-06 - Appt in Cairo

I-130 Approved : 4-18-08 - USCIS approval!!

Visa Interview Date : 6-22-08

Case sent to WADC: 8-6-08 - FBI check

Email From Embassy 1-09 - Still in AP (7 months)

19 DHL scans - 2-19-09

1-26-09 - Out of AP, now final review

2-26-09 - Visa in hand!

3-11-09 - POE JFK - Got stuck there due to immigration taking too long. They didn't change his visa from CR1 to IR1, have to go to immigration here to fix it.

3-12-09 - Arrived in Portland!!

5-29-2010 - Zane was born ** Absolute best day of my life!

6-7-2010 - Ahmed went back to Egypt

8-23-11 - Filed for divorce

1-12-12 - Divorce final

Doodle, I am sad to hear what you are going through. I am hoping for the best. These are tough times.

A most pleasant day here. I have been sick, and I am feeling a little better now. Hubby got me the best purse! (He had some assistance picking out with my daughters cuz I am freaking picky). I got him sick so he is back in bed napping. I feel bad about that.

Family party in a few hours. I should clean but not sure it matters really.
