Applies to the I-129 - work visa application only.

Yes, its time for the OP to start paying far closer attention to details, study the guides, download the forms and study their instructions and then interpret literally and answer accurately and honestly. This is only a simple process when we do exactly that. It's not one for those who have trouble with details.

asking a newbie to READ THE GUIDES is like trying to lead a horse to water in the middle of the desert

"VJ Timelines are only an estimate, they are not actual approval dates! They only reflect VJ members. VJ Timelines do not include the thousands of applicants who do not use VJ"

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE SITE, PLEASE READ THE GUIDES BEFORE ASKING ALOT OF QUESTIONS. THE GUIDES ARE VERY HELPFUL AND WILL SAVE YOU ALOT OF TIME!

i didnt even know the guides were there for months after coming and then didnt use them cuz it was easier to ask.

The problem with failing to read the guides in favor of asking questions is two-fold. First, and most important is that without learning the basics of the process, you won't know whether you've asked the questions you need to ask. If you neglect something, you don't know until too late. Second and less important is that you discourtiously place an extra burden on the members to provide information you could have learned without them typing it again for you.
