ANYWAY, back to the question I think at least 4 hours is good...I'm not thinking necessarily for having to go through POE, but just because of delays. If you're traveling in Dec - the height of travel season - especially. What airline are you flying and where would your layover be? If you're flying RAM, or as my fiance call them, Royal Air Delay...lol...especially allow extra time. I think I'm the only one who successfully flies to Morocco through American Airlines (and cheap!!). They don't fly there, but their partner Iberia does, so you get Iberia flights at AA prices. (just a tip to others who fly to Maroc )

RAM always messes me up with connecting flights back home better to already be somewhere waiting than late and having to find a connection to continue on

ok to the "intended" question. I think if you're flying into Heathrow you should allow for more time however my favorite is the Amsterdam airport to kill some time. Good luck!

4-5 Hrs if the airline is a good one and usually leaves on time. Also, start looking at the weather as you get closer to your trip for any weather delays.

Schedule the main flight and connections with the same airline, so that if you do miss your connection flight you have better priority for rescheduling.
