I hear it all the time ... this isn't fair ... that isn't fair ...

Life isn't fair ... get over it.

Maybe you should be happy that things aren't "fair" in a global sense.

So your application took a month longer than John Doe's ... so what.

Your K3 wasn't as fast as Suzy's K1 ... so what.

There are a lot of variables to consider to determine an all encompassing "FAIR"

Shall we prioritize the entire immigration process fairly?

Is it FAIR that airfare for some to visit their loved ones is $400 and others its $2000?

Is it FAIR that the income of some allow more international visits while they wait?

Is it FAIR that some get no vacation time to visit and others get 6 weeks or more?

Is it FAIR that long distance rates to some countries is .05 and others are .50?

If we prioritize the petitions based on all kinds of FAIR factors, where would you line up?

1. Those farther away get higher priority

2. Those with less income get highter priority

3. Those with less vacation time get higher priority

4. Those who are married get higer priority

5. Those married longer get higher priority

6. Those with kids get higher priority

7. Those with older kids get higher priority

8. Those with disabilities get higher priority

9. Older/Younger (take your pick cause who knows what's fair) get higher priority

10. Those who've never filed a petition before get priority

11. Those with higher long-distance rates get priority

Yes I think these suggestions are silly, but to suggest that something is UNFAIR you must first define FAIR

Life is full of inequalities, but UNFAIRNESS is difficult to declare unless you consider the endless list of FAIRNESS variables. If everything was considered, you might even find that you are on the plus side of the FAIRNESS deliberation and should, by all rights, no be so fortunate.

If this is partially or entirely coming from the thread on multiple K-1's and all the blah, blah, blah in there...I'll repeat what I said there... I think it's perfectly normal as human being to moan and b#tch and complain during this process because at times we feel something's not fair. We all say it at some point, so what's the big deal? Now I may think someone who has been waiting only a few weeks and moans about it doesn't have much case to complain compared to someone who's been waiting a year, but what of it? People complain, that's just a fact and I thought this site was for complaining? *shrug*
