Ah...well, sorry if I misunderstood then. I'm just so tired of hearing about frivilous lawsuits..you know? It was probably very much so (and who knows, but...) a case of her hubby was really ticked off(as anyone would likely be) and said that to put them on alert a bit..? Anyway, hope they get to the REAL person who needs help next time!!! :yes: M.

Thank you all for your replies. After we 'calm' down we decided to go ahead and file for a complain not a law suit. Hopefully there will be no 4th time and I truly wish the lady (they said to be Miss Williams) are out of danger.

i could see 1 time. perhaps 2. 3 times, someone has an serious problem, and it's the police department. should they be getting calls to a different address on 911, they should not be showing up at your location. such endangers any life or death calls from the actual address. i recommend a formal complaint this time, if such happens again i'd call an attorney.

Hey Maureen, sorry to hear about what happened. I won't give you any advice, but it's no wonder people have such little respect for police when they pull stunts like that. "To Protect and Serve" my A$$!!!

They need to do a better job screening cops, especially concerning the psych evaluations!!! Some of those people should NOT be allowed to carry a gun!!! :no:

Just a little update guys.

We found out that the officer who came was the Napier Field police chief himself. Oh btw, turned out that they only have 2 people at the police station here in our area (Napier Field). Also, we contacted the phone company and they checked our calls log for the past 3 months and there are no 911 calls ever made from our home phone no. So they will send out their technician to check the wiring & stuffs.

We also talked to the lady who manage our apartment and she confirm that the police chief is "An idiot!" (that's her exact words) and she advised us to make an appointment to meet the Mayor.

We'll update again as soon as we have any new progress on this.

Considering you're in the deep south, don't know that talking to the mayor will do much good either because of the "good 'ole boy" mentality, but it might be worth a shot. Maybe he "aint' actually kin to the police chief"! :lol::D
