Well Keith called and I tried not to tell him LOL but I was so excited that it just blurted right out of me .. He is very happy and was asking lots of questions about what is next etc... He said we will talk more about it when I get home and we will for sure have a nice glass of wine to celebrate :) .. I am so happy

09/08/06 - Engaged & Pregnant!

03/13/08 - I filed for Citizenship

07/22/08 - Became US Citizen

08/02/08 - I-129F sent

08/13/08 - Case received by VSC

08/16/08 - NOA1

08/18/08 - Touched

12/18/08 - Touched again exactly 4 mos. after 1st touch!

12/18/08 - Noa2 @ 3PM-Gracias Dios Mio!

12/24/08 - NVC sent pckg. 3 to Embassy

01/02/09 - Pckg 3 rcvd. by Embassy

01/09/09 - Pckg 3 from Embassy received by beneficiary

02/09/09 - Medical exam

02/16/09 - Sent back checklist and docs required by embassy.

03/13/09 - We will fly to see Daddy Gary

03/16/09 - 1 PM Interview (Pray God he gets visa)

03/16/09 - 5PM INTERVIEW PASSED WOOHOO. Thank God.

03/25/09 - Visa on hand! he went to DHL office after phone call received.

04/18/09 - My Cuchi came, (NYC)a wonderful unbelievable moment!:)

04/20/09 - We applied for marriage licence. (Township Municipal Bldg Health Dept.)

04/23/09 - Licence on hand

04/29/09 - Applied for Social Security (He was in system!)

04/30/09 - Wedding day!!! Yeeebaa

05/07/09 - SS card in mail. "valid for work only with DHS authorization"

05/13/09 - Sent AOS paperwork.

06/16/09 - Biometrics Apptmt.

06/25/09 - EAD Card in mail!

06/26/09 - Letter saying case transfered to Cali.

08/08/09 - Residence Card in Mail! Yuuupiiiiiii.

THE END FOR 2 MORE YEARS.

Hiya, I have to tell you what happened when Keith arrived home last night :)

He was all smiles when he came in and he took me in his arms and gave me the biggest hug ever. We then opened up the bottle of wine and toasted to our future. He was so happy and so interested in what is next. We talked about it for a long time and I really feel confident about everything now.

I told him that I had spoken to my youngest daughter ( she is 14 and didnt want him in our lives, hoping I would return to her dad someday which is normal ) anyways.. she said that if Keith cant come home by christmas that we will put it on hold until he can :) . He smiled at that and then he said .. baby I want to be with you for christmas, I cant tell you how that made me feel inside, tears are running down my face as I type this because those words meant everything to me. I told him that we dont know how long it will take but its ok cause we will be together soon and christmas will wait for us.

We have been through alot together and what I saw in him last night has erased any doubts that I have had. He loves me and we are going to be ok.

I am so happy !!!

Ok guys I need your help on what we are to do next. We do have a lawyer so he will probally let me know soon but we want to try to get as much done together before I have to leave on the first and then Keith can just copy over to whatever papers he is sent. I dont understand the packet 3 and 4 part and I have researched it but am not good at that. Is there somewhere I can get a copy to look at?

Also does he need a police report? and if so should we try to get that now as I have read it takes 4 weeks or more to get it.. I just want to get it done :)

Go here for the Police certificate http://www.acpo.police.uk/certificates.asp will take approx 10 days to get it.

Check the embassy website here for other documents and how to get any other police certificates (if he needs them) http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/iv/docs169.html
