Do you have any idea what the DJIA was a year ago? On October 11, 2007 the DJIA hit a day high of 14,280 points (Thank you Bush)...The day Obama got elected the DJIA closed at 9,625....It is 8,000 right now!!

I've always seen change come from new management, new ideas, and new methods.

Do you really think it's impossible to effect change, and still retain a seasoned staff?

If we look at Corporate America, the agent of change is the manager, and new policies.

More often than not, seasoned professionals are retained, rather than hiring a team

of college grads. New blood is infused as needed.

But besides that, I think the disappoint comes from conservatives who were hoping Obama would appoint inexperienced people into administration posts. So that there is more of a chance that his administration would end in failure.

Yep. And Obama did not want to repeat Carter's mistake. He's being smart about his choices and he's already surrounded himself around people who are not only smart, but aren't afraid to contradict him. That's a huge change from the Bush Administration.

good idea except for one glaring flaw: of the 19 hijackers that 9-11 is attributed to, Marwan al-Shehhi, Mohammed Atta, Ziad Jarrah, Hani Hanjour, Khalid al-Mihdhar, Nawaf al-Hazmi (7) were in the usa before the nov 2000 elections were even held.
