Hi all,

I called NVC tonight, and our case is complete at NVC! :dance: No RFE's. Apparently the interviews are booked for December in Albania (I figured), so we're hoping for January. You know, it doesn't make any sense why the consulate wouldn't just book the next available, rather than the NVC calling every month!

So happy... plus, I'm flying to him on Friday and we will have until the 30th together! It's been 6 months since we've seen each other!

Congratulations! My case was also completed on Tuesday. But I am still hoping for a December interview. hehhehe. Nothing wrong in hoping! Good luck to us all!

Congrats! :thumbs: I just learned our case was completed this week. :blink: Wow! It's hard to believe all this waiting will soon be over, I am in shock a bit... how are you feeling?

I answered my own question.

After reviewing the submitted documentation, and the file is complete with all the required documents, the NVC will send the petition to the embassy or consulate where the applicant will apply for a visa when the case file is complete. For certain embassies/consulates, the NVC will schedule the applicant's interview. Approximately one month before the applicant's scheduled interview appointment with a consular officer, all interested parties (applicant, petitioner, and third-party agent, if applicable) will receive an appointment letter containing the date and time of the applicant's visa interview along with instructions for obtaining a medical examination.
